It cranks the unhinged, over-the-top stuff a bit too far, but it's an improvement over The New Order in so many ways and still packs some truly unforgettable moments... I’m still head over heels for Blazkowicz.

Tried it for the story, stayed for the atmosphere.

The first half of the story and some character revisions are great, but a lot of content is gone missing, and what’s left doesn’t at all hold up to what we've got 4 years ago. the inclusion of kameos feels off, finding online opponents takes forever and the new Invasions mode is just criminally boring.

It refines and perfects just about every aspect of the previous games, making it arguably the best Mortal Kombat entry yet.

Flaws aside, this is exactly the sequel I wanted.

Its stunning score and portrayal of WWI left me wanting more.

Do something about the price, 20$ a month is outrageous...

The main plot may be a bit lacking, but everything else more than makes up for it.

Faithful yet beautifully modernized, a prime example of remake done right.
