Weird, creepy story with solid survivor-like gameplay. 9/10.

Everything you've loved about the original Risk of Rain but just... better.

Lovely adventure that had me surprisingly immersed in all the wonders (and horrors) of an alien sea.

Loved it. Survival horror elements feel like pretty standard Resident Evil stuff. However, the mystery had me hooked. Had to see how it played out straight away.

Aside from the many technical issues that a lot of the reviews have already mentioned, this game just isn't fun for me. The insane TTKs across the board has slowed the pace of the game to a crawl. Hard pass and big regret I bought it.

Simple and fun game. Running around and collecting power-ups to get ridiculously strong weapon combos to kill hordes of enemies is just straight up entertaining. It's also easy to pick up and play, so it's fun to wrap up a night with one or two rounds. 10/10

I've found the game to be a solid horror experience so far, and I'm enjoying it! There are some solid jumpscares which are made scarier by the overall unsettling atmosphere of the game. As far as gameplay is concerned, it's a very focused simulator/puzzle experience (embalm three corpses, but burn the right one before the timer ends). However, once you have it down, it works well to allow you to start exploring some of the other secrets in the game. I've completed the game twice (failed the first, and figured it out the second time), and both times had revealed different bits of lore and story. In terms of shortcomings, I will say that there isn't much sense of danger beyond the timer (at least none that I've found so far). You either run out of time or burn the wrong body. This might not be a problem for someone primarily looking for a puzzle-solving experience, but might be a bit dull for others. Overall, I'm looking forward to getting the other endings and finding out the rest of Rebecca's story!

Really doesn't overstay its welcome. Great little horror game that picks at my fears of the mysteries of the deep.

Great conclusion to RE7. Fantastic RE game overall.

Tons of variety with mods. Great way to spend some time with friends during the quarantine. Takes a bit to get used to the interface, but it's a pretty smooth ride if you're playing well-built game mods. Easily worth grabbing for a group when it's on sale.
