Consciousness exists because we are conscious. Losing my mind over nothing. The thought of nothing scares me. Making friends is nice. Making love is impossible. Chase perfection while I'm the only critique. Near infinite distractions but nothing sticks. Impressing others is easy. Impressing myself is arduous. There is no point in anything. Having consciousness is an onerous task. Are those who lack awareness happy? It never gets better. I hate me. Detach my strings and it's all gone. Every day is the same hell. I'll miss this too. I don't want the hell to end. Being here is frightening but it's all I know.
