Only just saw your comment, if you're getting the 6870 you'll pretty much have identical setup to me - I never drop below 60fps in skyrim now even on max :D

Also - Overclock your phenom :D 3.8ghz core and 2.6ghz CPU-Northbridge has improved performance quite a bit
