Imagine, you wake up after what feels like your 500th death. The feeling of cobalt filling your lungs welcomes you back to the island you are doomed to be trapped on forever. You break trees to survive with what little survival skills you have. in an attempt to survive just a little bit longer in this life, you venture to an ancient crypt filled with advanced technology and weapons from the people before us... fragments of memories come to you, working for something called.. cobalt. No matter, you gather resources and craft together some basic materials and rusty weapons, but it is quickly turning night, You need shelter. The day is almost complete and you have been able to avoid deadly contact with your fellow, violent humans all day. You pull and tie together logs to try and make something like a home, but suddenly, BRRAP several gun shots go off in the distance, bullets fly past your head and body. Instantly, adrenaline is released into your body as you begin a mad dash into the trees when you can just catch the evening sun glinting off of several metal clad men, determined to brutalize you with automatic weapons, you keep running when a bullet catches you in the ankle, you yelp in pain as you stumble and crash into the ground. Eventually they catch up to you, you scream for mercy, sputtering, yelling, swearing. No use. You wake up.
