This is a VERY SHORT route. Textures are low. Neither the train nor route are available in any other mode except 'Career' mode.

I repeat 'There is no free roam. You have only career missions. Very short route.'

Not worth the 18+ euros.

Hero & daughter+ is a fresh new approach to an already very saturated jrpg market what with the availability & ease of use of RPG Maker, almost anyone can make an rpg game these days. The only thing is that this one truly stands apary from the rest.

Basically the story goes like this...
Having been setup by his own kind, our cocky hero loses his hero level & is forced to fight the forces of evil by teaming up with a selection of over 30+ quirky & beautiful girls who can hold their own in any fight. These beauties are his only option and any experience he accumulates in dungeon battles, he has to pass over to them.

Genius. Absolute genius. My only gripe is that it has very low resolution & full screen just makes everything look fat & wonky. Other than that, this game is my favorite rpg of 2016 so far.

Aveyond 4: Shadow ofthe Mist is everything I longed for in an old school rpg. Great storyline. Fantastic mazes. Good adventuring. Hilariously funny plot turns. Nice 8 bit chip tunes.

This game is very compareable to 'Secret of Mana' or 'Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past' which were both for the SNES console.

This game is a breath of fresh air for the retro rpg genre. Do not pass this up!

Livin' the American Dream.


Trucking on a lonely stretch of highway. Tumbleweeds rolled by me. I rolled on.

Crop duster flew a little too low for my liking so I turned on the radio. Keith Urban's kickin' up a storm.

Finally made it back home. Missy & the kids been missing me. Only here for a few precious hours though.

Got many more runs to cover. Debts to pay. Family to feed. Slapped on my ten gallon & mounted my steel Stallion.

Time to truck... Americana-style.

Spellweaver is a free trading card battle game complete with a good starter deck to get you going. Isn't that already enough to satisfy your soul?

Spellweaver is a card game that involves a lot of strategy, building a well balanced deck & a little bit of luck when it's your turn to draw cards. Oh yes.... playing against a crappy online opponent is a good thing as well! Unless you're more into playing against the AI with 3 levels of difficulty, then that is an option as well.

The game does have its complexities but makes up for it with lots of rewards including a lot of gold coins to help you improve your deck quickly. It also has a nice long learning curve but once you get the hang of it you're ready to spill some opponent blood.

There is a small cost though. If you want to compete with some of the best online players you'll have to invest in card packs that will give you a chance to unpack 'Rare' or even 'Epic' cards that, when mixed into a strong multi classed deck, may help you stay on top of the Champion's table amongst some the best players in the world .

Overall, I think this strategic card game can be very entertaining & a blast to play with friends & strangers alike. I give it my purple seal of approval.

At first I thought 'Oh great another top-down shooter' and went into the game half hearted. Once the action started, I was immediately faced with fierce opposition & devastion. My attitude changed instantly. I enjoy getting wasted to oblivion repeatedly but I had to tone down the game's difficulty to 'normal' to get a chance to reach the second floor...lol. This game is unforgiving.

For each level there are five floors with five boss encounters. Each enemy has a unique trait so your strategy of approach matters. Your arsenal is always random but you are given the option to select from three items in some rooms & purchasable items in others. You can even buy xp if you like! If you die, you restart from the very beginning. Also, every floor is randomly generated with every restart so no two gameplays are ever the same.

This game is well optimized for use with an XBox controller & it works perfectly by using the left analogue to move & the right analogue to shoot. Alternate move/fire settings are also available & all buttons can be reconfigured easily.

Unfortunately this game does not offer local co-op which I really wanted it to have. I think all top down shooters should be enjoyed with other players.

Overall, I find this game very fun to play. Things can get very frantic & unforgiving on harder difficulty settings which I think is great for diehard players. I fully recommend Starward Roque.

At first glance, I found the controls a bit clunky while using an XBox controller, but as I progressed through the levels, I found that it was just perfect for that 'old school' feel. This game is so much fun! Non stop fun! You kill baddies...you kill a lot of baddies! You also have weapons...you have a lot of wapons! The arsenal is massive & the upgrades seem limitless. Don't forget to stock up on a lot of ammo though, as some of these levels will demand it! Expect to die often.... very often! Expect to rage even more! Some levels are so overwhelming sometimes, but if you replay them they might turn out to be a little more forgiving. You just never know wat to expect with this game's AI.

I like playing challenging platform games. I also like challenging space shooters. I like the concept of this game as well. What I don't like is that it only supports keyboard functionality. Yes I know that it's meant to be that way to give us that retro feel but personally I think it makes the game way too challenging for my taste. Making a game challenging for diehard fans is ok in my book but making a game impossible for the vast majority is not something I agree with.

I used the Xpadder 5.7 app to even get the scores that I did. This game definitely needs game controller support.

UPDATE: There is controller support now but it still won't work in Boss fights. Hopefully the upcoming updates will fix this. I like the tweaks that have been made to make this game very enjoyable so far & I like the fact that we are being heard. The continued improvements the dev team is making on this game have made me change my vote to positive.
