The game needs a lot of work. The war system is really terrible along with the RNG of trying to pass laws, along with a plethora of other issues. I'm also not a fan of the UI, I feel like I'm not getting the information that I need quickly and easily.

The developers have stated that they have no intention of overhauling the war system back to what it was in previous Paradox games.

It feels more like Civilization than Vicky, and it honestly feels even worse than Imperator did on release.

The game had a rough launch. Now, the game is very fun and addicting, especially with the excellent changes to multiplayer campaigns, finally allowing synchronous turns a la Civilization and up to eight players.

With some modding touching it up it becomes even better, and with more patches and DLC it will easily become one of the best games on the market. However, I highly recommend you use propjoe's mod manager launcher instead of the vanilla launcher.

I enjoyed it a lot, some optimization, bugs, missing features, and bad melee, but the devs have promised to iron them out. The voice chat, shooting, and quality and variation of gear is excellent.

Unfortunately I can't recommend it, as the community is more dead than that of Battlegrounds III.

The game itself has plenty of bugs, and is missing features such as disease spreading, societies, and flavor and fantastical events, but the new DLC is a lot of fun and a push in the right direction

Pretty much exactly what I expected.

Very addictive and fun. Lots of replayability and a uniqueness to each faction. Good modding scene, however total overhauls are impossible.

Great fun, definitely completely repetitive, but something in it makes me want to keep on coming back to play with friends.
