This game is similar to vampire survivors, but with more mechanics. Not a terribly deep game but it's not trying to be, there's only two inputs after all. It's a fun little time waster.

The game asks what pronouns you'd like and that makes reddit-brained individuals melt down. Also you can hook up with a space cowboy and do space drugs. 10/10 GOTYAY

It's a great little mix-up on tower defence games, there is a certain amount of RNG with the card system but that stops you from building the exact same, highly optimized path every round which is typical in the genre. Every round you have to think on your feet with what you've got. Only thing is that I wish it had controller support, would love to play this with the steam deck!

Context: I have ungodly hours in both RS3 and OSRS. In RS3 I got the max cape (maxed all skills) and completionist cape (completed all major content) in around 2016~~ In OSRS I am over 2100 total level.

RS3 is a very complete somewhat-standard MMO experience. It's got the awesome graphics, it's got the familiar ability-based combat, 1000+ hours of handmade questing content and so so much more. Honestly? 2020 is the best time to get in to RS3 - this is a MMO in it's maturity. You're diving in to a MMO that even if you play for 8 hours every day, it'll be YEARS before you exhaust all the content they've added over these past 2 decades. This is the perfect quarantine time-wasting game people.

You've probably heard of OSRS, it's not on steam yet but it's also sick. OSRS, it's basically a reboot of the game from 2007, with the oldschool graphics you remember from math class, janky mechanics based in engine bugs and that some certain something magic charm that you only get if you played it back in the day. And that's sort of the crux for me, is that its hard to recommend to people that didn't play back in the day because they can't get past those early--2000s browser game graphics.

Both are great games - if you've never played Runescape at all I'd recommend RS3 just because a lot of the RS-exclusive jank has been ironed out to make it more accessible, and it easily has 4x the content of OSRS. If you played back in the day and this coming up no steam reminded you of the good ole days, go pick up OSRS.

It's got more players than Lawbreakers and Battleborn lmao

This game is absolute hot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. There a ton of content but 0 polish. Everything is buggy, uncomfortable and awkward to use and do. Even walking around and looking with the mouse feels just... Wrong. The early access was a scam and the release is barely better than the EA

I feel like I've pissed away my time and money on this game. I supported OVk and advertised for them when they were struggling to have make PD:TH profitable. I bought most of the dlc. Now this. ♥♥♥♥ off, OVK.

CS:GO is a really nice game for basically anyone that likes online multiplayer shooters. You can do drop-in any time matches like casual, arms race and demolition for some quick fun or dedicate an hour or so to the game in a competetive game. Even in casual game modes it is still a tense, highly competetive game with a great feeling of balance.

Also you can have pink guns covered in childish holographic stickers. What's not to like?

Chivalry has very simple to grasp yet difficult ro master mechanics. Anyone can jump in and start flailing their sword at the enemy but as you play you will learn new skills - such as moust dragging to delay or speed up swings to catch your opposition off guard. From new to veteran players this is an exciting, unique and emersive title that'll have you on the egde of your seat.

Also this game has a voice menu with an array of funny "ye olde" insults. Who doesnt want to yell "I WOULD THINK YOU TO BE WOMEN, BUT YOUR BEARDS FROBID ME FROM DOING SO" in the heat of battle?

Look at my hours, I've played this game a TON. The game I fell in love with through highschool was a fun, casual, silly shooter across thousands of community servers. There were 100s of ways to play.

Then valve introduced matchmaking on valve servers, effectively killing off 90% of community servers with 1 way to play. Then valve refused to maintain the anticheat for their own servers, so now spinbots spamming racial slurs via text chat and mic spam are in -every- valve server making the game basically impossible to play... And it has been this way for the past 3 years. Keep in mind valve still aggressively monetises this largely unplayable game through gacha loot crates.

Disgraceful. Embarrassing. Either get rid of matchmaking and put the server browser front and centre so the community can self moderate, or put some time and effort in to anticheat.
