I played this game for 7 hours in the free weekend. Boy , did I have a blast. They didn't lie when they said that the game is like Deus Ex mixed wiht Nuclear Throne. I'll just go over a few things that you can do. Let's assume that you need to retrieve a certain item from somebody. You can bargain for it , steal it , hack into the building's system and have the security system kill that one person or kill them by yourself. Want to hack everything ? Want to go sneaky beaky ? Want to go guns blazing ? Want to posses people ? Want to punch your way through ? Want others to do your dirty work ? Well , you can do all of them and many more. Just look into the game's steam achievements and look how many classes there are to unlock. They all play differently , with their strenghts and weaknesses.

PROS
> Really good tutorial
> Many classes
> Freedom of approach
> Good progression and unlocking system (you choose the order you unlock stuff)
> Mutators
> Plenty of humour
> Controls feel really intuitive
> Huge replay value

CONS
> As it is now , it only has 2 levels and no main quest
> Some classes are unbalanced (for me , Investment Banker feels extremely weak)

TL;DR
If you liked Nuclear Throne , Deus Ex or just rogue-likes in general , get this one. There is so much content and so many things to do.

Well , where do I begin ...

The Gameplay
While the gameplay may seem very different from the first one , it's still pretty good. In the first game you were more the meele guy , Thugs (aka the big guys) being rare , thus not needing guns. Rooms were smaller , corridors werent so long , there weren't so many windows , and the list goes on. In HM2 level design took a different direction , meaning that now there are a lot of open spaces and big rooms filled with ranged enemies. HM2 is more based on gun fight , rather than meele (and thats why so many people got their jimmies rustled). Many people say that the best tactic is luring enemies , but that's only if you are a big sissy. You can go guns blazing , doing combos and still having fun. I admit that some levels are poorly made , resulting in a lot of frustration , but overall the level design isn't horrible , just different from the first game. One thing that bothered me is that there are some objects that seem to be just part of the background , but when i try to shoot through them , i can't. These "cover" objects can really be annoying.

The Story
In the first Hotline Miami , there was some story , but pretty vague. Only after getting the secret ending , you could understand some things. In Hotline Miami 2 , most of your questions are answered. You will see some new faces , some old faces and you will get a handful of answers. In some cases , you just need to look carefully and think about what you just saw to fully understand the story. The ending ? Well , what can I say ... It was really unexpected. The ending (the normal one , i havent found any secret endings yet) was pretty mind-blowing and shocking. Clearly not what I expected , but clearly not bad.

The Characters
In Hotline Miami 2 you will have a large selection of characters to play as. My personal favorite are the Fans. Most of the characters are unique , and have their unique mechanics (Roll dodge , killer punches , akimbo , etc). Each character has it's own storyline that you will discover as you play the game.

The Soundtrack
Pure genius. Hell , even if you hate the game with passion , you can still love the soundtrack.

Conclusion
Overall, Hotline Miami 2 feels very different from the first game , but it's still a very good game , even with it's flaws.
It's story may be hard to understand , it's levels may be hard to finish , but when you get to the end of it , oh boy , it feels so good.
Should you buy this game ? Right now , without the level editor , i say its kinda overpriced , wait until is like 10 bucks or so.

Even today I remember the first time I saw this game on newgrounds. It was a small demo , like the first two levels , but i immediately fell in love with it. Basically , Binding of Isaac is a rogue-like dungeon crawler, with randomly generated levels , which has a lot of surprises.

It has many playable characters , each one of them having their ups and downs (Example : Judas has really much damage , but very low health) . As you progress through the game , you will get the hang of it and unlock more and more stuff.

The game's story is well hidden , and you need to take note of all the endings and even some items.

All in all , Binding of Isaac is a good game . Even if Rebirth is out now , you can get this game for a small amount of money.

TL:DR : Rogue-like dungeon crawler with endless replay value , get it when you can .

Aahh , Risk of Rain , where do i start ...

First of all , this game may seem hard at first , but trust me , more and more you play , you will get the hang of it. This game is basically a run-and-gun with rogue-like elements. With 12 classes , each with 4 unique abilities , you wont get bord so fast. And dont forget the items , which are a lot too. The game may have some bugs , which is not nice , but you can get over them. And i almost forgot , everything is randomly generated , so no 2 runs would be the same.

Now , regarding classes , my favorite part of the game. You start at first with only 1 basic class. Yep , only 1 class out of 12. You must do certain things to unlock classes , like killing bosses , reaching a certain level or in some cases even finding the other characters hidden in the game's levels. No 2 classes are the same , each one of them has an unique playstyle and set of abilities . For example , there is the sniper who excels at firing precise shots , being very good for dealing with bosses , but not so good for dealing with hordes of enemies. Or the enforcer , a tank who can stun enemies , or block all frontal damage with his shield.

Now the items. Oh boy , there are lots of items . Some give you a shield , some make your attacks explode . There are activable items who can summon ghosts to fight for you , shoot a lot of missles and so on.

The enemies in this game are well done , every stage bringing some new type of enemy . And also , you can buy drones to help you out in your journey . These drones fly near you and shoot the bad guys or heal you.

And the soundtrack ? Pure genius.

TL;DR Get this game if you like rogue like shooters with lots of classes and items , and most of all , good replay value.

Should you buy this game ? Hell Yeah.

(Price tag may be a little bit high but wait until it's like 25 % off) Imagine you are the only guy alive in a research facility on a distant and hostlie planet . Oh , and you are being hunted by mutants , zombies and robots. Ammunition and supplies are scarce. And don't forget the perma-death. When i play this game i have that Bioshock 1 feeling , like when you dont know what is going to pop out and when , and you always need to scavenge and conserve. Crafting is nice and you have a large array of weapons. Apart from weapons you got some cool gadgets (a good example would be the detector). This is not a typical run and gun. No. You must think and ALWAYS proceed with caution. It also has a pretty rich backstory , but you will discover it as you play. On top of that , every playtrough is randomized. Oh and i almost forgot , there is only 1 bar of chocolate in the whole game and it heals more than a first aid kit. If that doesnt convince you to get the game , I dont know what will do it.

If you are a survival / horror / shooter fan and you want a challenge get this game.
Final Mark : 9 / 10

Pros :
- You can get high by eating berries.
- The skill system is really well made (Survival Op)
- Lots of weapons (meele and ranged) and items (like nightvision , blowtorch)
- Interesting crafting system
- Pretty large map for a game this small
- Can turn on / off PVP
- Even if it has premium benefits , they are not pay 2 win
- Multi seat vehicles

Cons :
- Can't play multiplayer ATM (Its still Early Acces , so i guess they will fix it)
- Hunting is not efficient (animals are super hard to catch without ranged weapons)
- In the beggining , it can be very hard to survive if you spawn somewhere crowded with zombies

Final mark : 8 / 10 - Good.

One of the best RTS games I ever played. At first i was like "meh , nothing special" and started to play. After palying for a while I looked at my watch. 2 hours passed. So yep , really addicting. But always remeber one thing : Never ♥♥♥♥ up with Gandhi. NEVER.

Final Mark : 9 / 10 - Fun and addicting.
