Absolutely worth $10 and much more.

This was an excellent mystery game. The 1-Bit graphics allowed the game to explore much more ugly deaths without worrying too much about gore. Thanks to this, the number of choices in figuring out who someone is, how they died, and who (if anyone) killed them, is staggering. You'll spend hours on this game and the story will make you keep coming back to try and figure it all out. The musical score is also excellent. A few tracks are often repeated but stay catchy throughout the story. It also has a few mechanics that put it a step ahead of other games in the genre. Specifically, the ingame book acts as the center piece for your investigation and is chock full of useful information. Most in depth detective games require the use of a real life notebook to keep track of all the threads of information. Obra Dinn, however, can be completed without this thanks to the book. I highly recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of the genre. Also, if you don't like the color scheme shown in the trailer, there are about 7 others if I remember correctly. They all mimic different classic home computer systems and you're sure to find one that suits your tastes.

An incredible hacking simulator. I enjoyed every minute of it. The thrill of trying to break into others' systems while not getting caught was great!

A short and enjoyable game with great visuals and an excellent soundtrack.
