Pretty good, reminds me of the old call of duty games :)

Its a pretty cool game, i only played at launch in a state in which it shouldn't have been launched. Don't know if its any better now.

A genuine classic everybody needs to play at some point in their life

After having played this game this much (700+ hours at time of writing) i can honestly say there hasn't been a game i've played for a long time that was actually worth playing as much as i have felt about counter strike. For most people in the cs community cs has been more than just a game. it has been a hobby on its own. And thats exactly wat it has been for me. I have spent many hours with friends i already knew before the game and i have met a lot of wonderfull people trough the game with some of whom i still play with on a daily basis. And yes sometimes it can be frustrating playing a game like cs, but at the same time i feel excited about the fact that you can get so involved in a video game that getting frustrated just because your not hitting your shots is a part of it. And it happens. cs is a game that requires a lot of practise and commitment. but in the end i feel this game was totally worth it. TLDR; Good Game!

Edit: Lately the developers have been adding an amazing amount of new content to the game which is great. I'm not a fan off every change they made but I feel like it is really promising to see the developers put more attention to the game.

I was pleasantally surprised by this game. I was always a longtime fan off the QUAKE series and was really happy to see a new game bearing the iconic QUAKE name.
A lot of reviews say the the game runs very poorly or has a lot of bugs but I have had bearly any problems with it. Appart from the occasional crash after a match (witch only happend to me about 3 times in the 22 hours I have put into this game at the time of writing this review), the game actually runs very smooth. The recommended and required system specs listed on the store page were actually a little higher than my pc is handeling but I get a smooth frame rate and almost no lag at all times.

Considering the price and not expecting anything, this game actually surprised me. If you can look past the unfinished details like the kinda crappy control scheme and missing options, highscore list and variation in gameplay, the game is actually really good. nice visuals, smooth gameplay, clear instructions and sometimes even a bit challenging. Overall a lot of potential to be a great game, just missing some small details.

I won this game in a little contest from my teacher. After playing it I am happy that I won.
