Back in 2011 Stunlock Studios gave us Bloodline Champions. I gave it a shot before it was on steam. BLC was tough but a rewarding game. It got over shadowed by the larger "MOBA" games of the 2010's. Fast forward to September 20, 2016 Stunlock gave it a second shot and took the great things from BLC and cleaned up the bad. If you like team fighting in moba's this is for you. Battlerite is a true area bralwer based on fast paced combat focused on short cooldown ablities and great teamwork.

Game is great give it a chance.

Is it worth $50 Cad / 40 USD ? no.
Is it worth buying on sale? yes... if you like fight games.
Is it fun? Yes it is

As a fight game it's good.
As a $70 game with a ton of paid dlc its ok.
Remember you can unlock characters through ingame (free) currency called Fight Money
You get about 160k from story mode alone.



The single player is a little lacking and the tutorialis not the best. (Skull Girls was great for this )
I still enjoyed the story even though it was short.
But I don't play Fighting games for the story.
Watch the cartoon if you want a story.


Will update at about 50/100/200 hours.

I will always play Street Fighter as I grew up playing in the arcades.

Just five more minutes i need to finish this quest before it expires.

My favourite 2D Fighter, has the best tutorial that helps you learn the basics of fighters with in depth lessons on every character. Great art and sound. A very underrated game. A most own for any 2d fighter player
