Character creation is badly designed, and most options just straight up don't have any, well, options. And the character designs are very, uncanny...
Character animations are rough and there's a lot of clipping of arms into the body/clothing.
The UI is not great and looks like a cheap piece of work.
Constant stuttering and low fps, especially in the town, which is weird given how the game looks like a ps3 game.
Your mouse-cursor is free, moving the camera and locking said cursor when you hold right-click, which does not feel good especially since your camera turns when you move your character wether or not you hold down right click.
There's no minimap so you have to constantly go back into your journal to find your way, this was infuriating when I tried to find Sulo and all of the other NPC's.
And speaking of finding Sulo, NPC names have the same format as player names, so when I tried to find Sulo, they blended in with the other players' names that were crowded around, and I only found them because the prompt to speak popped up for a millisecond when I walked past.
Text will continue off of the quest UI, and the popups for picking up items are the same size and location of your quests, so if you're picking up a lot of items, the right side of the screen will be completely covered.

I can't say anything about the farming/life-sim elements because this is all just so, bad, I legit did not want to continue. I'll check back if the game ever gets a full release. But til then, I'm out.

Devs, pls fix

After DE dropped all support for the game I was really scared about the future. I really was scared about this game becoming either a shell of what could've been, or just straight up not existing at all.

But Airship Games pulled themselves up, even after all the drama around the game, and turned things around. This Echoes update is quite possibly the best thing that could've happened, and my god it is really good. Please if you were on the fence about playing Wayfinder before, it is really a worthwhile experience now.

Almost cried after watching 2 of my friends get mauled by a dog right in front of me immediately after landing and staring right at it as it walks right by.

10/10 would meet quota again

I've tried time and time again to enjoy this game, it has every chance to be good. But with messed hitboxes, BS enemy AI, weird and steep scaling, and just generally weird mechanics, it is just an infuriating experience.

I love the weapons, how each weapon feels unique and aren't just some stat changes. And the characters as well, they each have their own playstyle with super cool abilities. But with the issues as they are I just cannot enjoy this game for more than like 15 minutes without getting frustrated.

Game is a horribly buggy mess. Audio is horribly mixed, with the enemy audio tuned way down, and your ability audios tuned to the maximum (it literally pains my ears and head to play, I've tried everything to fix it, turning off v-sync, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, turning audio up, turning background audio on and off, everything). Game crashes CONSTANTLY, and server disconnects out the ass. Horribly optimized.

DO NOT GET UNTIL THE DEVS ACTUALLY FIX STUFF

Update: came back after the new horizons update, the audio issues are still there, half a year later, literally making the game unplayable :)

Yes, with all of my love, yes I recommend this game.

I first experienced this game 2 years ago back when it was on itch.io (rip flash). And now that it's finally on steam, I was more than happy to throw my money at the devs and buy the game. And MAN is it worth it. Much better quality, even more music, steam workshop support, just, YES. I haven't even played through the whole game, only being on the 4th act now, and I am just in love again.

Also there is bird in the game.

This game is just not fun, the combat is clunky, the movement is slow, and the platforming is just, no. I cannot recommend this

Truly an amazing game. Great visuals, gameplay, and an interesting story as well. Unfortunately it's not that long, but the speedrun mode and the secrets inside the game are things to keep you coming back.
