I mean I kind of am the developer of the game. This is my game lmao.

Actually this turned out pretty good and at the time of writing it's just v1.0 with none of the extra updates I'm planning.

Anyways I'm gonna get back to work. See ya!

I played for about 80 minutes. There were no first-party servers, meaning I couldn't run the mode I wanted. No server with more than 0 players played FFA. The one server I did get into had me in queue for ages and I basically got ♥♥♥♥-talked in chat for being new. I only saw two active servers, both Clan Arena.

Tried playing with bots, no good way to set them up (especially using presets or in bulk). They only used the Gauntlet and tried running straight at me for melee kills. This game is basically dead and I had way more fun playing Champions if I am going to be brutally honest, since at least that game has a decent way to set up bot matches. Even TF2, a game known for neglecting to teach new players has a proper VS bots mode.

I have already refunded the game. If you have LAN friends to play with, that's a decent exception. I love the original Q3A over LAN with friends, but I'm guessing the pure online experience there is a similar situation to QL. I'm just really upset because I really wanted to play properly and I (personally) feel the game doesn't let me.

I like the game's visuals at least. It's still Quake but I'm finding it hard to get a decent online match in on any Quake game if I am being honest. This is going to be a no for me.

Early Access Review
I waited 6 months to get a functioning link cable for my Oculus Quest. Bloody thing doesn't work that well. So when I actually get the play the video game, it's great. Take and Hold is fun (escpecially when I get the revolver shotgun) and Meat Fortress, which is what I originally came for is really fun.

I'm writing this as my game updates to Early Access Update 90.

I'm only a few hours in and a very small portion of the content is all I need to have fun, so I can't wait to play the rest of the game. Most of it is gun ranges, but I have tried out a few other scenes and they were pretty fun.

All I can say is, Take and Hold is a completely different experience with the item spawner. Bringing the 1000-round box magazine minigun is super fun. Stock T&H is tense as heck and a fun experience as well.

Edit: HOWEVER, Regarding T&H, I HATE that you cannot choose between a few sets of guns at the start. Bolt-Action Rifles and a few other guns are WAY to slow to reload. Also, please add a Pavlov-style death line when I lose. I physically shout out "WHAT KILLED ME" whenever I die because I was behind cover and still died. It'll go a long way into removing a ton of frustration with this mode's default experience.

Another thing I like to do in Meat Fortress is get a backpack full of dispenser tippy toys, rocket jump to the mayonnaise bottle at the top of the centre building, but down two or three dispensers right next to each other and get a ton of sentries. Then throw them down to the ground and watch the mayhem from above.

The insane customisation of this game is great.

A few nitpicks:
- No other backpacks
- Many weapons like the miniguns, the MFort Flamethrower, the Rocket Lauchers, e.t.c. can't be holstered into the back slot, which if it can hold a backpack, should be able to hold ANY (or most) weapon/s in the game.
- Sticky interactions aren't default on Oculus Touch controllers, although it's probs already an option. Should still be the default in my opinion.

Overall, really excited to see what's around the corner.

anton pls add levl 2 and thre senrty gun and wragnler i wnat to snentry jump in vr pls
