Game is super fun and constantly getting updates. Devs are active with the community and listen to our suggestions. No micro transactions and the in game currency is super easy to earn. Probably my favorite game on steam tbh.

CS:GO Review
For the first 300 hours or so, the game was fun and competitive. After that, you start to notice all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that goes on such as smurfs, hackers, and 64 tick servers. After playing community servers with 128 tick, then returning to matchmaking, you notice how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage 64 tick is. Valve cares more about skins and profit than their top selling game. VAC is a broken system, it's way too easy to smurf, and the amount of toxic players is unreal. In it's current state, I can't reccomend the game, but I can say that at the beginning I had fun with it.

Introduction: Before I start, I have 760 hours on H1Z1 and started playing right at the end of preseason 2, and I have reached Royalty in a few of those seasons. I have a good understanding of the game and it's mechanics. i've watched this game "evolve" over the various preseasons, whether it evolved for the good or the bad is really up to the player. With that being said, the majority of the people who have been playing for a good while like me, agree that H1Z1 really has taken a turn for the worst. Before you start to blame the new players for wanting the game to be easier for them or the advanced players for wanting some sort of change in gameplay mechanics, none of their opinions really mattered in the first place, let me explain why. Daybreak Games is the one to blame for this game's downfall, not the players or community, the devs. They didn't change the game because of the new players who wanted the game to be easier because they kept getting 2 tapped by the good people. The devs want more money, period. Honestly, I'm having trouble typing that with confidence just because the game is now dying because of their poor decisions to cater to brand new players rather than enforcing a "skill gap". They're digging themselves a hole and it might be too late to update the game out of the bottom of it.

Gameplay Mechanics: My biggest point to make about mechanics has to be the recoil. The combat update ruined this game and I cannot force that statement enough. The new AR-15 recoil especially made spraying WORSE and all it did was lower the skill gap. Daybreak should have reliazed that horizontal recoil was completely unique to H1. Seriously, what other game can implement something as dumb as horizontal recoil and have the game do good? The answer is no other game besides H1Z1. It was the most fun and unique aspect to the game which oddly made sense while you were playing. Switching to vertical recoil was just taking away the uniqueness of the game and just turning it into a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mainstream game. Next, the movement. If you have ever played PUBG, you know how it feels when you move compared to pre-combat update H1Z1. It feels slow and sluggish, which is exactly what post combat update H1 feels like. The pattern is starting to form, Daybreak is making H1Z1 as close to PUBG as possible. This really sucks to see for the veteran players because we play this game because its NOT PUBG. This review is already long so I'll leave it with those 2 main points.

Unneccesary Changes: Daybreak is known to ignore big issues within the game while spending their time on trivial things to add to the game that nobody cares about. Examples, in the most recent update, new gun models were added. Someone explain to me why we needed that? Anyways, some more examples I won't go in detail with are new crates, new POIs, a new menu, I could go on but you get the point.

Unqualified Developers: I want to know what college or university these people attended, or better yet if they even finished high school. Some of the things these people do are so beyond retarded I physically can't even comprehend the reasoning behind it. An example is in the combat training or deathmatch mode, who's idea was it to have a set loadout that cannot be changed by the player, (i.e. AR/AK, shotty/smh, pistol) just let us make our own loadouts with our preferred weapons in whatever slot we're comfortable with. It seems like whenever the community asks for something, Daybreak does the polar opposite. We asked for better hitreg, a better shotgun spread/damage, and the reversal or fix to desync. What did we get? The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ combat update.

I think I'll stop there, if you want more info just go on the H1 reddit, there are tons of great informative people on there. If you read my review all the way through, you're a beast. If you found it informative, a thumbs up would be much appreciated. There are definitly points I missed in this review, so if I catch any I'll be sure to make an edit at a later time. My final verdict is I can't reccomend you this game in it's current state. Thanks for reading.

Devs do a good job with updating the game to the community's liking and doing their best to make the mechanics balanced and fair. Ranked play is fun and competitive and no characters in particular have any huge advantages over others. The game is also moving towards esports which is always good to see. The game is also free to play, it's easy to get the hang of, and you don't need a good computer to run it. In my opinion this game could be enjoyed by anyone no matter the PC or their skill level.
