Stalker 2 is my first introduction to the franchise, and I absolutely fell in-love with this franchise. I can't wait to play the other stalker games! I love the style, immersion and atmosphere of the game, and its blend of horror and realism. I love the open world that this game offers, I can't wait to see A-life fully or partially implemented later on. For now, i think the game is incredibly fun and rewarding and entertaining, and the story is engaging.

The combat can at times be frustrating; how many times have I gotten in a firefight at some of the army bases, just for random enemies to spawn in behind me! Can't hear their footsteps or anything. And the Ai seems to have unbelievably good aim, even those zombies! and for every play session, I have at least 1 crash, so there is that. But all in all, the negatives of the game haven't taken away my enjoyment of the game. Its still worth a playthrough, and compared to Starfield, the story of this game is a breath of fresh air!

Early Access Review
An extremely lovely game, very beautiful, few issues for me while playing. The resource gathering isn't exhausting, the building costs appear reasonable and respectable of the players time, the game itself doesn't feel like a huge time commitment like some other open world crafting survival games are. Building is relatively simple, and relaxing, satisfying, cooking is simple. I genuinely loving the Ancient Greek setting. For whats offered at the price, for the quality, is astounding. I can't wait to see more from this game's development!

My only negatives about the game would be that the world feels incredibly empty and boring at times, for me I would just love more enemies and fauna to be sprinkled about. Another issue I find, is that a lot of the fauna (animals) tend to spawn in one tiny part of the map and you'll go ages without seeing any wildlife or anything moving or living for that matter. I would love to see patrols of the enemy hoplites/temple guards throughout the maps, this would help the world to feel more lively and provide more challenge. My main desire is just for a more lively world.

This game still feels like a Beta test.

This game should feel like a shut up and take my money kind of game, but it doesn't, not yet at least.

In its current state, I don't recommend the game. Wait until 2025 to purchase, what better be, the full game.

Thank you for releasing the roadmap.

I'll recommend the game once I see it in its completed state.

This game is like Terminator fan service done right

This is probably the best Terminator game to come out since the early 2000s, and even this game is leagues ahead of those games in terms of graphical improvements and game-play. This is the future war that I always wanted a movie about. Time and time again, I'm hoping for a movie set just in the future war, but to no avail, I will continue to long for it. But this game, Terminator Resistance, at least to me, is like the Future war movie that I always wanted. And I can't get enough of this game. I love the way everything looks; I love looking at the resistance soldiers, the terminators, and all of their various iterations. This game fits right in with the first 2 Terminator movies. And I also love the semi-open world nature of the game, finding loot, finding ammo, weapons, materials, everything, however the semi-open world is definitely not overbearing, its just the right size. I describe it as semi-open world because its still a bit linear. My favorite part about the game is the sound design. I love how movie accurate most of the weapon sounds are. And of course, the music in this game is phenomenal, the game menu terminator theme rendition is by far one of the best. Simply put, if you're a terminator fan, who is especially a fan of the first 2 or 3 terminator movies, this game will probably make you feel such a powerful sense of nostalgia, that's what it did for me and that's probably why I love it so much.
10/10 would recommend to every terminator fan

It's the best game that's been put out by AAA gaming in the last 5 years probably. As a consumer, I'm so sick and tired of paying $60-$100 for a game, only for it to be half baked, or minimally baked, where the rest of the game will come out over a period with updates instead of all at once on release day, Cyberpunk, Halo Infinite, Battlefield 2042, total war, and others being the main guilty parties.

This is a refreshing game on the market, one that brings relief from these horrible practices that have plagued AAA gaming for the last 8 years or more.

For the most part, this game was released with probably 90% of its content. Nothing felt completely missing or lacking, apart from 1 or 2 unfinished quests. And while I absolutely welcome DLC for this game, I love that the game doesn’t feel shallow or hollow, in terms of, it doesn’t need DLC for the game to feel complete; if anything, I want more of the world to explore. Most of the game released on release day is the main point; not like total war, where their latest game released with probably 25%-30% of its content and the rest probably won’t come out for another 3 years.

Now about the game itself, it took me 264 hours to complete my first playthrough of the game and that's because I explored every centimeter of the open world, completed as many quests, NPC interactions, dungeons, bosses as possible. And there are still some quests that I missed that I'll have to complete in NG+. This is my first game from Fromsoft and it has been money well spent. The learning curve for this game wasn't too terrible either, within a couple of hours, I had figured it out and gotten used to the combat mechanics. The game is definitely challenging, however, it gives you plenty of tools to relieve some of the pressure. I took things slow, slowly progressed through areas, and this habit often rewarded me with fewer deaths (gravity was the biggest and most frequent killer of mine). If I was impatient with an area or zone or rushed into it blindly without cautiously looking around first, the game would absolutely punish me for it. When going through dungeons, I learned very early to always keep your shield up before turning corners and to crouch through as much of the dungeon as possible. It pays you to use a sense of caution when going through most of the areas. If you see a giant bird or giant dog in a zone, pause, and look around for a way to carefully get around them, or if no such alternate route is available, just run through and haul ass and hope for the best that you’ll outrun everything. Also, I recommend using a controller for this game, (for me at least) it's just a lot easier to access everything a lot more quickly.

What I like about the game is the enemy/mob variety, the combat mechanics, the exploration, the tools it gives you to help make the game easier, or harder (by simply not using said tools); the game doesn't need a difficulty slider in my opinion because of this reason. The farther you progress in the game, the zones do get harder and the enemies harder, beefier, more HP, however that is more or less simply keeping up with the player's progression. When you've reached the late game, you can go back to the starting zone and one shot everything, but that's not the case in some very late area zones, which is another reason why the game doesn't need a difficulty slider. The game already “scales” in difficulty as you progress through the game; you as the player will be stronger, and so will the enemies as you go on. And that's another point, if you’re struggling with the main boss of an area or dungeon, you can try again later, level up some more, and come back. Margit destroyed me in the early game, but when I came back at level 27 with a +4 Bloodhound fang, ooooh, I had gotten my revenge. And after killing margit, I visited some field bosses to get more revenge. Another aspect that I liked was being able to farm for just about every piece of enemy armor, or their weapons and other gear. I tried to collect every set of knight armor, and all other armor variations for the soldiers.

The things I disliked about the game are fairly minimal; one being that there are still some shader or texture issues in certain late game areas of the world, mostly in the snowy regions. It's bothersome to the eye, but it doesn't interfere that heavily with the gameplay. Another aspect that I disliked was the quest design; while I do like the minimalist nature of the quest design, to find an NPC was sometimes like looking for a needle in a haystack. I just wish at the very least it gave an idea in terms of what direction an NPC went in. There are some framerate issues that continue to randomly plague the game, but at least in my playthrough they have become far less frequent compared to when it first released. Going back to farming for enemy weapons, armor, gear; I do wish the drop rate was a little higher xD, not to be too cheeky.

I possibly didn’t touch on every aspect of the game, but may this game be a lesson learned to every AAA game studio. This is probably the greatest game I’ve played since 2010.

An Incredibly satisfying game to play, great sound effects and gun play. However, that's really it. Its an incredibly shallow world that is tediously repetitive. And I still don't know if my Deluxe edition content has kicked in from the steam version. This game had SO MUCH POTENTIAL. I was actually looking forward to it and I still admit, that I enjoy the gun play, but after 30 minutes, I'm finished with playing the game. There is hardly anything to do and yeah its open world..But not much to interact with. An interesting game, but the amount of content in it is barely worth $20, so if you really want the game, wait for it to go on sale.

Early Access Review
At the game's current state: 29th June 2018

Overall, I believe the game to be quite fun and enjoyable. It has an absolutely hilarious playerbase and community; also a pretty friendly one at that. The game is still lacking in content with only 3 factions being available at the moment: Great Britain, France, and Prussia. The game does have a few bugs and problems, but it doesn't make the game unplayable.

This note is for the Devs - You have a few spelling errors in the game.
Cons:
Melee is quite buggy, it can be fun or downright frustrating.
Only 3 factions so far
The maps tend to go stale rather fast.
The maps seem quite one sided

Pros:
Fun playerbase
Good community
Semi-active game;
Awesome graphics
Pretty nice animations

I'll continue updating this review as time goes on.

I wasn't looking forward to the game that much, but I must say I loved the campaign the most.
