Improve your life, get this game. Play it with friends or with random people.
Has one of the friendliest communities out there.

If you are new to destiny 2, there is a FRACKTON of content to get through. Find yourself a good clan with friendly people that speak your language and enjoy.

Stanley didn't really know what to expect from this game, and almost immediately this voice started to tell him what to do.

How rude.

- EDIT - Since it's been over a year now, I've updated the story a bit with retrospective comments ;)


In the beginning, there was a mate of mine: "Here, take my (extra) H.O.T.A.S. and give Elite Dangerous a try, It's on sale!"

Next day: "O M G This is too much information"
- It IS still a lot of information. But: the first user experience has improved with a nicer tutorial on how to get started.

Next day: "Guess I'll buy my own HOTAS. Can't keep using these lent controllers forever."
- I strongly recommend getting one. They are not that expensive if you keep away from pedals.

Next day: "So maybe I DO need to upgrade my HTC Vive. IMPULSE BUY"
- This is not stricktly needed. Since I got drawn to exploring, I have not been using VR that much since I prefer being able to browse the web while going into the deep unknown.

Next day: "I wonder where the weekend went."
- I know where it went now. In black space.

A couple of months later: discovered 150+ new systems nobody EVER visited before. I've seen the center of the universe. Visited Colonia and O M G this community is mad. So many tools/plugins/websites/help around.

11/10 will waste more of my life in this game.

Get it, start it, love it. Done!

Still the best FPS. In combination with CPMA, we spend countless hours at work having a frag after lunch. Seriously. This is still as good as it ever was.

For 'better' graphics, install ioquake3 and just cherry pick the pak0.pk3 from your steam installation.
