Perfect length (about 5 hours). Great co-op experience. Simple but weighty combat system. Great blend of linearity that rewards exploration. No stat points, meaning you can always use the goodies you find.

Vibes are off the chart.

Fishing kinda buggy in multiplayer tho

Early Access Review
In short, they took the best parts of Supermarket Together and added a fun collection aspect to it. I love collecting and opening cards. I love organizing my shelves, setting up my warehouse shelves, and automating everything with employees. I love that every employee has their own personality--for example, the art student will show up late and clock out immediately at 9 PM, whereas the TCG fanatic employee will be there right at 8 AM and will stay past 9 PM hanging out and checking out customers until everyone leaves the store. It's such a nice touch and makes the employees have more soul than just their stats.

Obviously, the game would be better with co-op, but it's plenty fun as-is.

If I had to list some complaints/suggestions:
1. The camera lerps far too slowly to the keypad for credit card transactions. I don't understand why cash transactions do not force your camera to move while credit card transactions do. Please add a toggle of some kind for this.
2. Supermarket Together let you view how much inventory you had on the shelf, in storage, and on the ground from the Buy menu. I wish this game showed you an inventory count from your phone's Buy menu.
3. Speaking of Buy menu, I wish I could open the Buy menu from an item's tag in my store. It's odd that you can open the Price Charting app straight from the item's tag on the shelf, but you can't open the Buy app the same way.

Otherwise... I really like it!

Impossibly buggy multiplayer setup.

1. The online instructions for setting up a dedicated server neglect to tell you that you have to run the server once before the .ini files are generated
2. The default port recommended is 8777 yet the default port expected by the game client is 7777
3. OwnerName did not work, so I was not the owner of my game
4. Servers require a public IP address to be set ahead of time, players must specify the IP address of the server. Would it kill them to resolve a DNS name?
5. I restarted my server and then my server appeared in my game client twice. Joining either locked up my entire UI.
6. My friend got his server up but kept getting stuck in a cloud repeatedly every time he joined his server.

I give up. This game is unplayable, in the quite literal sense.

A good game ruined by Rockstar's launcher, not to mention is a poor PC port.

Pros
- Game is good

Cons
- Rockstar Social Club is a horrible launcher that takes about a minute to launch the game.
- Half the time when I launch the game, I immediately get an error saying that my account is not "entitled" to play the game, forcing me to quit and relaunch the game.
- First-time setup on Steam Deck requires a mouse and keyboard to be attached since the Rockstar Social Club launcher does not play nicely with Steam's touchpad or on-screen keyboard, even when in desktop mode.
- Poor PC port. The game has unavoidable stutters in Windows and runs smoother on a Steam Deck than it does my 4060 or 3080Ti machines.
- If you alt-tab, the Windows task bar shows over the game window permanently, even if you switch the game back to Fullscreen mode. Apparently "fullscreen" does not mean fullscreen.
- If you change Windows' desktop resolution after launching the game, the game window no longer is centered in the screen and requires a complete restart. Again, "fullscreen" does not mean fullscreen.
