The content selection is excellent, and a career mode with strategy is great to see in a rally game. However, the game flat-out looks and plays worse than DiRT Rally 2.0 that came before it. It's a bit easier with a controller, but every bit of spectacle of rally that DR2 had feels gone in WRC. It is not a bad game, but I cannot ever see myself playing it over DR2. I understand this is Codemaster's first Unreal Engine game, but this is still a product at the end of the day, and I have to judge it fairly.

Car list is quite interesting, but the game is not good. The visuals make my eyes burn (for lack of a more detailed explanation) and the camera makes every car feel uncontrollable. The AI acts up a lot too - I couldn't play for long as I knew it was bad real fast. I can see the passion put into the game but sadly the end product is very poor, especially for $30. If I had to recommend one thing to the dev team, it would be to take a second look at the art direction.

It's literally just a worse version of Need for Speed SHIFT in every single way. Not worth your $20 even if you're a collector worried this could get delisted any day now.

It's worth $2 for a quick laugh, but otherwise... no.

DIRT 5 is strong visually and has some good music, but in terms of arcade-y rally games, there is much better. The driving physics are not just simplistic, but poor. Damage does nothing to your vehicle, which when compared to the older DiRT titles is pitiful. There is also an auto-balancing mechanic that makes gravity and some collisions feel very strange. You can find DiRT 3 on Steam for much less than this on key websites, and that game is fantastic. So is DiRT 2, but that one is harder to track down. I highly recommend those games instead, as they are some of my all-time favorites.

A very fun time capsule of 2010's car culture. Not as crazy or fantastical as something like Most Wanted or Unbound, but one of more realistic open-world NFS games with the use of real world automotive icons and unique graphical style. There's no other NFS like it.

A generic experience that feels like a downgrade to the The Crew 1 in nearly every way, at least in terms of uniqueness. The dialogue is awful, progression is all over the place, multiplayer is lacking in modes and playerbase and the visuals suck. The Crew Motorfest is the good version of this game - go that buy instead if you want a good festival racer.
