There is barely any difference between the base textures and these 4K textures except for a whopping 65 gig increase in storage size and a massive drop in frame rate.

Still not worth installing even if you do have a powerful enough PC.

It's much better than The Ship, even though feature-wise it seems that Murderous Pursuits is a downgrade from that game on the surface. This one is fast-paced, more tight-knit and the gameplay is much more fluid and more polished when you compare the two directly.

If you're a fan of The Ship or Hitman or any other social stealth-em-ups. Murderous Pursuits will surely not disappoint.

NightCry is pure old-school point and click survival horror. Having grown up playing mid to late 1990s obscured horror games on the PS1 like Clock Tower and the countless other wanna be Resident Evil-clones. NightCry brings me back to the glory days of that era. If you missed the golden days of early survival horror or just have an itch for low budget Japanese-style horror then NightCry is definitely worth checking out.

Finally, a survival game without any zombies, mutants, killer robots and Bear Grylls.

A nice single-player only strategy game. Desert Law will differently appeal to Mad Max fans and fans of post-apocalyptic fiction. There is no base building, resource gathering or micro-management. It is a budget game and it shows, but it is a great little distraction for just $5. The graphics, although out-of-date are still very nicely detailed. They are 2D isometric with 3D vehicles and they also have very nice weather effects. Even without any multiplayer you are still getting a lot of content for just $5 as Desert law has a long campaign of around 30 missions of different varieties.

Gameplay is good but the only big major problem I had was that if a story character dies, it is an automatic mission failure. This can be sometimes frustrating because enemies can take out your vehicles and characters pretty quickly if they all target one in your group. So sending out your non-character units to the front of your convey is a must for success, which can be annoying because there is no option to change the types formations of your units like there are in other strategy games. Despite that issue the gameplay is still fun if you are able to overlook those major faults.

Deep, fun and engrossing strategy game. Back in Action is a great business and military sim.

This is my first JA game. I have not played JA2 before BiA, however I did try playing JA2 that I brought for $10 at my local gameshop, but its low-res 2D graphics, complicated interface and lack of a tutorial made JA2 unplayable for me, so I went back into JA: BiA as this remake is a much better version of the inferior JA2.

The Plan & Go system is great and works well, it speeds up the battles and allows you to command your Mercs to launch attacks and ambushes simultaneously. All future Jagged Alliance games should re-use the Plan & Go system.

8/10

A HIDDEN GEM.

I was very surprised by this game. Survivalist is a top down post-apocalyptic RPG similar to State of Decay and Dead State. Set one year into the zombie apocalypse you start off as a wealthy business man with heaps of worthless money who has been living alone in a bunker for a whole year hoping to wait out the apocalypse, but then your bunker supplies unexpectedly ran out. Left with no choice but to venture outside you will encounter other survivors, zombies, looters and so your adventure begins in this zombified desert wasteland.

The game is not perfect but it is still very fun to play. The graphics are pretty dated; they look like The Sims 2 from 2004 level of graphics but with better shadow effects. But this is probably due to the game be ported over from old Xbox 360 hardware, which also limits the frame rate to about 30 so that may turn some people off. Also the aiming is off as you cannot pull off any headshots against your enemies which makes gun combat pretty annoying in early game where your character's firearms skills are low and can lead to some pretty cheap deaths with your characters. Also ammo and supplies are plentiful in this game which can take away some of the hardcore survival aspects of this game.

But the positives out-way the negatives, gameplay is still fun and there is a lot to see and do, there is a good package here for just $5. If you enjoy zombie games like State of Decay which is also similar, then you will have no serious problems with this game.

Survivalist has my seal of approval.

Early Access Review
A decent shooter. Primal Carange: Extinction is light on content and features but still has some fun gameplay and well designed-maps.

Pros:

* Great detailed graphics that fully uses the Unreal 3 engine
* Well balanced multiplayer
* 2 teams with 5 different classes to choose from
* Good Jurassic Park style atmosphere
* There are Australian servers for us Australian gamers

Cons:

* No offline bots (or any single player content at all)
* Heaps of hit detection issues, especially when dinosaurs try to attack the human players
* Some maps have their own snow versions. This seems like it’s just a cheap way to add more maps into the game
* The team auto balance system is pretty poor at this time
* A few minor map glitches that still need to be fixed

Very addicting game. One of the few most polished bug-free Eary Access releases by far. You are just a random soldier thrown into a middle of a war zone. There is hardly anyone playing this online but who cares, the single player bots are some of the most smartest AI, they will flank you, throw grenades at you, set up barracides and attack/defend defences. $9.99 is a bargain as I would be happy to pay twice as much for this awesome indie game.

This is a fun game that anyone will enjoy. I recommend RWR.
