Carpal tunnel simulator, if you like spamming left click a lot with little thought then by god this is the game for you.

Plenty compare this to Left 4 Dead and it is similar but seems to lack much of the suspense, chaos and panic that L4D offered. Moments like when a tank would appear or you had to sprint from a horde as you ran out of ammo. Diving into the safe room at the last possible second only for your group member to be dragged away. You then had to make the quick decision to go save them and risk your life or sacrifice them for the greater good.

In this game with it's unlimited melee, Those moments just don't really exist and you deal with most problems by hacking away whilst slowly walking backwards until you thin out the enemy group.

What it does offer is a nice set of skills and hero customisation. Also the graphics and sound is great.

All said and done the game isn't terrible and what it achieves whilst very limited is delivered well polished, However it only cost me £3.20 and yet i would still rather have it back.

playing on day 2 honesty most of the problems seem fixed.

Was able to connect and play with friends. We occasionally lost connection to each other but discovered if you simply disband and remake the group you get straight back together.

Performance on a 3080 @1440p was a solid 58-60fps rarely dropping below that 60.

So far this is a great expansion to the test drive franchise if they do what they have promised on the road map and bring the old map and a casino i can see this being a truly memorable and great game just like the old ones were.

Writing this review early just because i feel the game is getting unfair hate.

Only in mission 3, Vibe is great. Story is interesting and i like that were seeing more about the struggles of the mother ships core.

Animated drawings have been replaced with CGI which is totally fine and feels its the choice that would of been made had the tech been available and affordable when the games originally released.

Graphics are amazing and lighting is really well used.

the game is getting a lot of hate from supposed die hard fans of the series, So die hard it seems they wanted no changes or new ideas implemented from the originals. Seriously many reviews complain why aren't the hand drawn cut scenes back failing to even think how out of place and weird it would feel in a modern game with modern graphics.

If you like the old games this will give you that nostalgia kick in all the right ways!

Its disappointing that this is just a rehash of the last game with free mods added in as "new features". we got seasons as a mod to the last game and yet its meant to be a big deal for this launch?

now Aswell they are asking for £67.88 for the game plus its season pass. As a huge fan of the franchise and with this game having an extra year of development its just not enough.

Giants you're player base has grown by a huge amount you now need to use the extra money your getting to boost development.

Giants you can do Better and we all now expect it, you have gotten away with under funding and underdeveloped this franchise for too long.

Amazing content and what a change to boring and silly alien DLC's. This is what Arma is about and i hope to see more fully fleshed out content from their future DLC's. lets hope this is the start of real DLC's/standalone content like operation arrowhead was.

The paid mods systems is badly done and they are far to expensive for what they offer.

Modders should make a lot more than 25% for their own creation. But the fact steam is forcing people to pay money to use their system when you can find the same mods free elsewhere
