The absolute best way to settle any argument between friends

Some of the most fun I've had playing with friends and solo. I think it has the perfect amount of chaos and captures what Left 4 Dead did so well with its director. You're not always in control, but you're just powerful enough to hold your ground and fight back against massive hordes of enemies. The music is also pretty great, it sounds a lot like a movie score and I hope to see more variation in the future.

These are also some of the best devs I've ever seen. They're extremely transparent with the game and are really open to suggestions. The in-game monetization is the best I've ever seen out of any game that release over the last decade or so. Everything is fairly priced (you won't see 20$ cosmetics in this game) and you can even get the premium currency for free just by playing the game.

I really love this game, and I'm pretty sure I'll sink in another few hundreds of hours into Helldivers 2 before I get bored of it. It really has infinite potential. I'm most excited about vehicles being added and more mission types but also having the planets being more varied in terms of scenery and possibly the addition of urban combat, maybe with alien cities or something. There's just so much they could do with this game and I wish them the best.

That being said, there are some major problems with this game right now. Most notably being the balancing. Some other weapons get nerfed for what feels like no reason at all. The orbital stratagems and Eagle-1 stratagems are fine, but some of changes to the weapons make no sense at all.

Surprisingly fun as well as having amazing illustrations and music

I just can't recommend it in its current state. There's only really a total of 2 hours of content and the severe lack of updates really kills it for me.
