Cyberpunk, despite its issues is a brilliant game. It is immersive, beautiful and has great character work and storytelling from small scale interactions with characters and side gigs, to the large scale story and the way the city itself comes alive.

The gameplay, although lets face it buggy at times, is smooth, engaging and fun at its best. The gun play felt brilliant, I ended up zipping around with a revolver and katana, and the driving is fun, quite responsive and relaxing when you find your perfect vehicle.

Obviously you will need to adjust settings and graphics to match your PC as this game is quite a lot, but once you tune it, the world looks and feels beautiful and it is so easy to be absorbed by it. There are glitches and bugs, there is no doubt about that but the devs have worked hard to bring it to a better standard especially compared to launch, and right now about 90% of the time it is a smooth experience, although I did find myself needing to load old saves here and there when things went sideways.

From a completionist perspective as I took the time to 100% the game, it isn't ridiculously time consuming, but there is so much to do to keep you occupied. The side gigs and NCPD scanners in particular are the only real grind and can get somewhat repetitive, although I enjoyed chipping away at them when I wanted to turn off my brain and just get progress. THERE ARE MISSABLE TROPHIES DEPENDING ON HOW YOU PLAY, so be careful, particularly relating to achievements requiring mods that use certain attributes as there is no attribute respec in the game, something I found mildly frustrating for an RPG, and there is a missable trophy for one ending depending on a particular character. I will not spoil it here, but it is something to look into for those looking for a careful and efficient playthrough.

Overall I loved Cyberpunk, am glad it is done, and will probably find myself returning to Night City in the future.
