Was a great game, still is a great game, is currently facing a drought of content updates, but that's where the community shines with its constant additions of game modes/maps/items may they be actually good or just a throwaway joke that somehow got popular (higher tower) cause it had that quirkiness that made it unique and special and worth playing, but not only maps have advanced but also game modes which one of the more interesting one is the custom weapons one that lets you use user created weapons from the workshop ingame with their own stats to bring a new kind of experience to tf2 with special mechanics.

All in all the game is not getting that many updates from the developers themselves, but they do care about the game and so does its community and with that you will have countless hours of fun and always have a new and "woah" experience.
