Yes, this game had a rough start. Sure, it's currently still a bit buggy at times. All nit-picking aside, this game takes me back to the good old days of Assassins Creed (Pre-Origins) where stealth is of utmost importance (strictly speaking for the new PvE mode of course). A well balanced team on comms will run through a heist in less then 7 minutes with max gold wrenched out and no deaths. That is one of the most rewarding experienced I've had in a game. However, a team of lone-wolves with little to no team play, communication, and coordination will die within a minute and make you regret ever downloading the game.

That's the beauty of this game, if executed correctly with individuals who understand the mechanics of stealth, it will be one of the most enjoyable stealth games you'll play so far. The idea is there, the community is supportive for the most part, and more content is coming regularly. Where this game lacks is the few instances of glitchy physics when in full open combat. Avoid playing this game as if you're Bayek with lvl 100 equipment and play it more like Ezio sneaking through the streets of Venice and i can assure you that you will not regret your purchase.
