Based on other reviews I can agree that the fighting/npc are very lackluster compare to DL1 but at the the same time the parkour is 100% better. If there is a DL3 they should take the fighting from DL1 and parkour from DL2. Night time is subpar due to you spending 100% of your time on roofs with very few zombies; while going on the streets are impossible as Howlers are spawned about 5 ft from each other.
TL;DR: Parkour > Fighting
Pros:
-Great storyline
-Plenty of customizable options
-Lots of side quests/missions
Cons:
LOTS OF BUGS (even with quests and cutscenes)
-I felt like upgrades were very useless, especially after the first few important ones
-Loot/fights get very repetitive
-LOCKPICKS*** Helps, but the logic annoys me, a lockpick will break after so many fails but you can reset the pick by exiting the lockpick and going back in. Didn't break 1 lockpick the entire game

This game to me i just loved! Now i cant say its better than the 1st or 2nd season of this game mostly because i dont rember them that well. However all the action and drama that are already given to us in the 1st 2 episodes is juts insane. I really cant wait until the 3rd episode!!! Defintly recommend getting this game but defintly play 1st and 2nd season 1st if you havent otherwise this season wont really reach your emotions.
Update: Just finished the final episode of the series. I can not believe how well the story was put together. I felt like i was actually making the descions in my life and the game always had a certain way of making sure that no matter what choice you picked thier would be a very sad outcome. Wont lie actually caught a feel at some points MUST BUY

Alot of people were saying that this game was bad and not worth it. Personally no Homefront will beat the first one but this one was good i enjoyed the story line and all the new gadgets/upgrading trechniques, To me the best part about this game is the ability to customize your guns , buy diffrent type of nades,stuns ect. RECOMMEND IT
