HELLDIVERS do not declare victory yet as the has not been relisted in the regions affected in invasion of PSN requirement. SONY should not be let off the hook until the game is relisted in the regions affected by it and as of 7h ago of writing this review estonia, lithuania and latvia has been added to the list of delisted countries.

Its a fun game and there is lots to do.
cant say anything about the story as im not far enough.
the wold can be a bit confusing and progression is mainly done by grinding unless im doing it completely wrong.
all i can say is it can be fun and people should at least try the game

After 18 hours of playtime i have unlocked every gun and attachment possible in the beta.
Disclaimer i mostly played TDM and domination so i will only talk about those two game modes.

TLDR: Good game, lot of flaws and a lot of potential.

Lets start with maps. The maps are ok for the most part but could be better with improvements. First of all some of the maps were super confusing at first because everything there looked so similar witch made remembering the layout super annoying. I constantly remembered some paths in wrong places. Secondly when playing domination almost half of some maps was left unused because there was no objectives there so it would be nice to see 2 or 3 different possible point locations. The same issue was on TDM bit in smaller scale because some maps just didn't have enough cover everywhere or had meta spots that everyone was fighting for. And Third thin is the respawn points they are just horrible. There was times when i spawned next to 3 enemies because the spawns did not swap yet or because there was no better point for spawning.

Guns. The Guns are super satisfying to use for the most part and played sa i expected them. Some things i have to say however.
Assault rifles were good and felt strong and i never felt like i was at disadvantage when using any of them.

Battle rifles are single fire assault rifles that do a bit more damage per bullet and are easier to control if you know how to aim.

SMGS are all ower the place. the Lachmann sub(MP5) is the best of them but could do with a bit more damage close mid range. FSS Hurricane is jus an AR with the smg movement it has range and damege and Fennec 45 (KRISS Vector) has good damege but the range is worse than the auto pistol (and feels amazing to mag dump into some poor person).

Shotguns or shotgun is OP point it at some direction and shoot you probably get a kill. well maybe not that OP but 1 hit kill at close and closemid range.

LMGS: Spray and pray. Drill and kill.

marksman riles are jus beefier battle riffles. the lever action rifle was super satisfying when you got one hit kill and the other one was just annoying because if you did not get a headshot you probably died or had to just pray that you got one of the next 9 shots to land when spam clicking shoot.

Sniper rifles. Its a COD sniper rifle, one body hit kill, way too fast fire rate and camping in a corner scoped or running around quick scoping everything that moves.

Lastly the UI/menus and other stuff.
The menus were confusing at first (being used to the old MW(2019) and cold war menu) but it did not take long to to learn every button and all the necessary buttons.
Daily challenges were fun and easy to complete but the extra challenge was bugged for me and i could not complete it even after the daily reset.
and lastly the lachmann sub leveling is bugged so i was not able to complete it fully (doesn't get any xp towards the last level) and before anyone says that every weapon shows one extra level no when you look at the weapon tree it says completion percentage every other gun is at 100% while that one sits at 94%.

But yea to end this ted talk. The game has a lot of flaws but nothing infinityward cannot fix if they just listen to the players (COPIUM). But even with the flaws the game has everything there to be the best of the 3 modern CODS (Vanguard did not happen :D).

PS: MW2(2009) still will have a better story.

one of the best mmo i have ever played. Has the best main story in any mmo and it has good communication about what you can and should do. it also has its issues but none of them are major or game breaking.
it also has a lot of content to do (msq took about 1000H to complete for me).
