Just didn't particularly have fun. Maybe two players is not optimal, but I got it to play with someone.

I never finished the game. Its the exact same gameplay loop with exponentially extreme tedium. Endgame balancing is such a joke that mid game armors are actually better, and some skills (looking at magic and summoning) don't scale in a playable way. Like 1/3 of the bosses are just slimes, and a group of the endgame bosses are just reskins where the difficulty lies in how long you can stomach clicking your mouse until you get bored.

The flamethrower is a truly magical experience

Honestly feels closer to a mobile game than a real desktop game. The chief complaint of the last game was how grindy it was. I was hoping the second game would lessen the grind but would still have the fun journeys across the map. Instead, the grind was cranked up, and the "exploration" itself is a grind. Walking more or less in a linear path, fighting mobs of enemies that just get increasingly tedious and larger. The developer made a large mistake. They mistook tedium and grind for difficulty. I honestly wouldn't even bother to beat the game if I was playing singleplayer.

Why the ♥♥♥♥ am I paying $10 million for someone and they aren't even washing the dishes.

Incredibly boring even playing with a friend. Run around and press F with some of the most bland combat I've seen. Couldn't even set up a party with my brother and had to cross our fingers we joined the same lobby. If you told me this was a mobile game just ported to PC I'd believe you. Game is also way too zoomed in and feels like it requires zoomer attention span

Spend money and buy hats. You might still be ♥♥♥♥ at the game, but at least your corpse looks cool!
