I'm super biased for Red Vox as a fan of their music but genuinely a fun little game! The visuals are super neato

Very fun co-op tabletop RPG! Lots of good strategy, and good practice for communication skills lol. The difficulty curve is a bit harder but there is an unlock system to unlock certain in game items that will help. This is definitely best to play with at least 1 other person, I have not tried playing this alone.

It's not a good 2D platformer, the music is boring but a bit nice, the sound is boring, the jokes are simple, It's a simple game. Don't buy this unless it's under like 30 cents

Fine game, neat story and morals and art and all that, but the thing that got me was the very ~2015 internet references out of the blue haha. Did not expect that and took me back to my younger years. I also got lost a couple of times but hey that's on me

Putting anything about how I feel about this game into words feels impossible without revealing a part of the game that I think most would agree should not be perceived without playing the game itself. That being said, in order to encourage others to experience this game, I will write some thoughts I have.

If you have not played this game and want what I believe to be the best experience of this game, I would like to ask you to stop reading this and go play it.

Every persons interpretation of this game will be different. This review is a result of my experiences of the game and of my life. I will try to not spoil this game but reading this may affect your own experiences and outlook of the game.

As most others have written, I feel like playing through this game will help a creative persons outlook on their own creative work. There is a certain relationship that creative people hold with their work and their audience. This is a very complicated and not well understood relationship.

During and after finishing this game, I wanted to cry. This game does a very good job presenting a lot of thoughts to the player, with a narrative effectively driven by the narrator, but also leaving the viewer for a lot of interpretation if they have the capacity. Not trying to be rude here but I think there is much more than what the narrative presents.

I usually find myself as an empathetic and sympathetic person and playing this game has turned my entire understanding of what I think about trying to understand what others feel. I feel like now, more than ever, I don't know the proper interpretation and resulting actions that I should take as a person when looking at someone or what they have made or done. Of course, most people share certain feelings and thoughts commonly and are often referred to in some way such as the human experience, but there is so much beyond that scope and even within that scope that lies outside of my own understanding.

This feeling of a lack of understanding of another person saddens me deeply. And yet it also makes me feel understood. It should make everyone feel understood. Looking at someones creative work, appearance, or actions will only show you what you perceive. The creator of a piece of creative work can intend for certain things to be perceived and understood a certain way but there is no way for that to be 100% effective between all possible people in an audience.

I have created music for about 12 years. During that time I have developed a certain knowledge and appreciation for my own and others music. But I also think and have always thought that no one would understand my music as well as I do. And that's somewhat upsetting and frustrating, but in the end I cannot control what a listener hears in their own ears, their own brain, and how they feel as a result. There are certain aspects and tools that are commonly known to elicit certain emotions but everyone will always have a different reaction to what I have made. Sure, simple enough pieces will elicit nearly the same reaction from anyone, but is that truly where a creators satisfaction lies? Funny enough I have been thinking about this off and on for years before playing this game. But this game and writing this review has truly helped me understand this better.

When I began making music, I did it for myself. Through showing my music to others and hearing what they thought about it, I began making music more for others. Now, maybe more than ever, I feel like there is a disconnect for what I want out of creating music versus what I imagine others want out of my music.

Why should I create things for others if I can't even understand how they'll see it? Sure there's certain things I can do to urge the viewer to think or feel or see or smell or hear a certain something, but the amount of effort that has to go in to funneling their view into what you want it to be might not even result in what you had hoped for.

I have more thoughts about this and what I believe the game presents, but I will leave you with this:

Please create for yourself. Please play this game for yourself.
