Make sure you get the widescreen fix from nemesis2000 to fix the FOV issue.
Ah, my first hitman game. What can I say? It's got an absolutely solid foundation and in some ways I like this game more than the World of Assaassination trilogy. Worth playing if you are new to the series or aren't.

Now I am not much of a Portal fan like others are, I'm more of a Half-Life kind of guy but this game in particular always manages to give me nostalgia in it's purest form.

The souless white walls, the eerie sounds, they all scream 2007 to me in a way I can't quite explain. HL2 isn't as nostalgic feeling as Portal to me, maybe it's because I knew about Portal way before Half-Life?

The game itself besides the nostalgia is great as well, would recommend to anyone new to video games on PC or in general, the developer team of new graduates really knocked it out of the park.

The legacy of this game will be felt for many years on the internet and in the gaming industry.

A guy in a IRC chat told me about this game that released a week ago called "Half-Life". They were talking about how radical the graphics and stuff were so I convinced my parents to buy the game by telling them it's a science-based puzzle game.

Anyways, I popped the disc into the drive and installed the game and next thing I knew I was in a tram at the Black Mesa Research Facility riding the tram

The game was lagging at some points too but all in all it was definitely worth the 50 bucks to buy the thing, highly recommend it

Countless hours of fun, the amount of add-ons you can download is insane, I have around 100 but I know people who have even more.

Source Engine is also great even after 15 years, it will surprise anyone to know it's running on such an old engine

Timeless really, no need for an explanation, it's Half Life 2 and that's all you need to know.

We got rid of the bots with #FixTF2, but I realize after watching SolarLight's recent video on his comp journey that there's still more work to be done in the community and the game before it's "the most fun you can have online" again.
