This game is the newest in the Counter Strike series that started in 1999. It is a competitive style game with lots of personal skill and teamwork. This FPS is extremely unique from other FPS games like Call of Duty or Battlefield. You cannot aim down the sights of your gun besides two snipers and two assault rifles that have scopes. There is no sprinting in the game but there are ways to move faster, like holding out your knife rather than your primary weapon. Each weapon has a different spray pattern that everyone strives to control and master. That is what sets apart the skill level in this game besides map and game awareness. The ranking system keeps you motivated while playing and makes you want to keep improving. This game only costs $15 and goes on sale constantly. If you compare a video game to a movie where you pay $11 for ~2 hour of content then you only have to play this game for 3 hours the get your money worth. I have played around 1,000 hours and still play it all the time. However this game does have quite a large problem with people hacking, toxic players that either don’t work with your team or just yell at you the entire time, “trolls” who throw the game just for the fun of it, or smurf accounts that are very experienced players who buy another copy of the game and play lower ranked people just to walk all over them and win the game without a sweat. Another huge issue which i believe will never be changed is the servers, they only run 64 tick instead of 128 tick which means that the server doesn’t pick up what the client is doing accurately. With all of these problems the developers not only don’t seem to be trying to fix it they seem to encourage it with the game constantly going on sale after big ban waves. They just seem to be concerned on making money not only from copies of the game but in game keys you have to buy to open crates to get skins for your guns which they take profit from when you sell them on the steam market. 9.5/10
