This game works fine on the Steam Deck with Proton 9. I run it in desktop mode with a bluetooth keyboard for easier typing, but you wont type more that 50 characters at any time.

It took around 30 minutes to grasp the mechanics and loop, which weren't explained well (probably in the tutorial I skipped). As a designer, I believe the progression could have been more natural as you unlock new features, instead of being thrown into it abruptly. However, understanding the connections between elements and mechanics was easy due to the game's overall simplicity.

Nevertheless, being an indie game, it didn't bother me too much since my staff managed the cafe, allowing me to focus on catching cats and socializing like a real boss... 😮‍💨.
