Beautiful, but definitely flawed in some ways:

- Pretty repetitive combat despite attempts at lots of mechanical diversity.
- The dialogue is definitely a bit weird at times, but also funny at times. But the lip syncing is zeus-awful.
- Cinematics are only in 1080p 30 fps...wtf. It's 2025, huge mistake. But they still don't look horrible despite Sandfall's attempts at making them so.

Pros:

- Despite repetitive combat each character has unique abilities and play styles. This was very unique and done well.
- A great attempt at developing an abstract world, but it also kinda feels like you're exploring a weird museum more than a world. Regardless, it never gets old.
- Enemies are diverse but for some reason some of their attacks are not...budgetary reasons, I imagine. Main bosses are fully unique, though.
- Beautiful music, very beautiful. Reminds me of FF7 but has it's own French identity.

Absolutely worth the buy, I don't even like turn based much, I'm cheating my way through it, but for the rest of the game with story, aesthetic, and music it's worth it regardless!

Other than the god-awful (pun intended) forced Depth of Field and lack of AA options, this game and port are fantastic. Truly one of the best games ever made.

It's fantastic. Super addicting. Very polished.

Yes there are a couple flaws here or there but they're very minor. The story and writing is great. It's just as creative as the first.

This is the first title I've spent 60 bucks on in a longgg time. Just to support them!
