GET. THIS. GAME.
GET FRIENDS.
ESCAPE THE PLANET.
FIGHT EVERYTHING.

ok ok. This game is awesome, ok? Basically this is a semi-lite-rouge-like game (that has co-op! for up to like 10 players if you manage to configure it to allow that many :D!) (ITS A ROUGE GAME WITH CO-OP. BUY IT ALREADY) where you are stranded on this planet and must try to fight your way to escape. You must shoot, dodge, block, punch and nuke your way levels filled with tons of enemies, fearsome bosses, sweet sweet loot and your way back home.
Each stage contains tons of random loot which give you perks and power ups to help you fight the large hordes of enemies. These can be gained from using money on the chests, doing an imp statue challenge, from defeating bosses or gambling them on shrines. OR spend that sweet cash on droids that fight with you with an assortment of weapons such as flamethrowers, guns, missile launchers, or lasers! (Or, you know, they are healer droids and they just heal you. THEY ARE INSANELY HELPFUL)
And don't even get me started with all the character classes you can unlock, which just expands replayability even further. AND makes multiplayer even more fun! You can have a team where each specializes in getting eachother loot perks in which help whichever character the most! You could have a sniper hang back with a drill perk while having the commando luring enemies closer and having the Enforcer defend everyone with his shield and keeping enemies in place for the sniper to take the perfect shot.

And with that, i'll just say:
BUY THIS GAME!

First of all, the game is too short. But that's what episode 2 is for, eh? Not entirely. I actually preferred Episode 2 for the following reasons:
Sonic is slow. Sonic is SLOW in a game that was supposed to basically be a follow up to what a great game Sonic 3 was. No I'm not saying it shoulda been more like Sonic 3. It's just the slowness sonic has on this game actually becomes annoying. Then the levels feel so uninspired, as if they just went "eh whatever" for them. ONE EXCEPTION is the casino stage. That was actually a really great stage and i had fun with it, even if sonic was too slow for my liking (or possibly ANYONE's liking, but that's up to people's opinions. And you're reading MY OPINION.)

Now this game is actually a game worth getting. I honestly don't understand why many people say it was a bad game, as for me it seemed like an Uncharted game where you had MORE CONTROL over where you went and how you went. The game has an upgrade system where it basically upgrades your weapons automatically as the game progresses, meaning you don't really choose an update path that's to your liking, but doesn't really make it bad as it still actually really nice when you DO get your weapons upgraded. While the story was ok, i absolutely loved the interactions of the enemies whenever you defeated one in certain ways, their reactions being like "YOU KILLED MY BROTHER! ILL GET YOU" and others. (Honestly, it sounds better when you play it yourself) And the game also features some nice side quests which are basically Tombs with a short puzzle to solve.

Honestly think the single player in this game is worth a try for anyone who is would like a somewhat better Uncharted game.

Also i should note, this game has multiplayer, but it's kinda meh.

Early Access Review
BUY THIS GAME.

It's a pretty fun original game, combining platforming, racing and speedrunning (ha!) along with a la mariokart items to sabotage your foes to get yourself to victory!

Now mind the following: This game is still in development so expect a few bugs here and there, but when you get a good game running, maaaan is it very fun! Plus most of the game bugs seem to be from players lagging. And they actually do a good job fixing that too so i still suggest giving this game a chance! :D

Get this game. Play with friends. That's the short version.

Long version:
While this game is one that really doesn't get the love it actually deserves, considering all the ideas that were thrown in for the multiplayer co-op. For starters, the game controls great, which goes well with the action-based gameplay it has. (Kinda like RE5, but actually faster and kinda more fluent) Each Story and the characters get their own weapon load outs, enemies and... well story.
Basically Leon's storyline is fighting actual zombies. Not the kind of zombies you encountered in RE5, i mean actual skeleton, undead, slowmoving (Well, some are fast, but attack pretty slow) zombies, like people are used to. Leon's "ability" is to be able to dual-weild hand guns, and Helena's is to do an dodge-shoot attack with her starting shotgun.
Chris's story is, you could say, squad-based, for some chapters, you are aided by NPC Army characters, which i guess helps for people who are new to the game. But the enemies are Ja'vo which are zombies that can morph, can use guns, are fast, etc.
Then we have Jake's story. It's kinda like Chris's story in terms of enemies, but there is no NPCs helping you. I should also note, while it's pretty weird for Resident evil, Jake and Sherry are pretty much great melee characters. Jake uses his bare fists, but geez is he awesome in hand to had combat! And Sherry has a stun rod which can let you lead up with an action attack which can take multiple enemies down or instant kill one enemy. And it CAN prevent enemies from morphing with it as well. Which surprisingly can be fun if you actually know how to use it correctly! And no, that doesn't mean they are any worse with guns than anyone else, but it helps alot for when you run out of ammo, which can happen alot when playing on Professional mode.
And then there is Ada. Now what's different about Ada's story: First off, its a story you play on your own, without a CPU controlling a friendly character. HOWEVER, if you decide to play co-op, it'll let you control an "Agent", i guess from Operation Raccoon City? I'm not entirely sure. But its nice to know that you don't HAVE to play it alone. Anyway, in her story, it includes some old resident evil style puzzles to complete to progress the game. And as you go through the story, you get a behind the scenes look at what she was doing during the storylines of every character's story and how she actually had an impact on said storylines, so you should only play her story once you do everyone else's story.

Then here are the cool ideas they had with this game:
For starters, you can actually play a mode called "Agent Hunt", where you invade a player's storyline as a zombie. And trust me, THIS makes the game SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING! For example, from an experience of mine, during a boss battle with a chainsaw weilding zombie, two players had invaded my game as zombies, and they would either try to set me up in a way so it would be easy for the chainsaw zombie to kill me OR fail doing so and get chainsawed in the process. So during the entire fight, i am dodging the players and trying to defeat the boss. Not to mention that because i was playing in professional, the player's attack speed is slightly faster and have a higher chance of morph into a stronger zombie and attempt to kill me.
So yea, you play as a zombie and your objective is to kill a player and make their life IMPOSSIBLE. But fear not, you can turn this option off and have no players join your game as a zombie, but i highly suggest leaving this on for a challenge.
Then we have Story Intersections. During the story of the characters, they sometimes end up finding eachother where they all try to defeat a boss or get to an objective together. What's great about this is that if another player is playing the story of the OTHER characters and ends up at the intersection story, all four players end up doing the boss battle together. Sometimes it's one pair of characters aiding another pair, all 4 players fighting a boss or, in Ada's case, have 3 players fight bosses or have her use special vehicles.

Then there's the extra modes, which i actually can't talk much about... sadly its because not many players actually play them, even thought some of them actually sound pretty much. Such as one of them has one player playing as the boss character from Jake's story vs other players using the main characters. Then there's Deathmatch which isn't really exciting with RE6 mechanics, mainly because the second you get shot, you are basically screwed. Note, some of these are DLC.

Then we have Mercenaries, which isn't actually DLC, is where you play a large swarm of zombies, score-attack kind of thing. Again, you can play on your own or with a friend. And as a Steam exclusive, you get to play as Left4Dead2 characters.

All in all, if you have a friend, i highly recommend grabbing this game and play it in Co-op.

Long story short: Great game!

Short Story long: A nice side scrolling Player vs Player shooter, with fun stages, characters with their own unique power, alot of fun modes to play in such as One man army where one player uses their character and everyone else uses a random henchmen with random weapons. Killing the One Man Army then changes to another person and this goes on till everyone has had a turn. Its fun. Specially when the henchmen only have rockets and keep killing eachother by accident! Oh and just because its a sidescroller dont think you just point at one direction to kill anyone. You have to put your cursor ON the character you're trying to shoot, which makes this game a more balanced game, imo. You can also add rules such as infinite ammo, low cooldown on character skills, no weapons, people always explode when they die, etc. Unlocking characters and weapons is actually easy and you have so much fun you dont even realize when you have the points to unlock them.

While you can play this with random people, you can just play with friends. It is SO FUN with friends!

Oh and for you people that like to stream on Twitch, it has like, integrated Twitch streaming. I have no idea how that works since i dont actually do streams myself so.

Anyways id say this game is like a 8.5/10. If you see this on sale: BUY IT.
Unless you're willing to pay 10 dollars for this game. Its kinda a short game for 10 dollars so.

Have fun!
