Well I guess my gaming days are over. If the only way to play games is through a "Steam" or "Origin" account I will never buy one of these games again. The need to be connected to the internet in order to play a game is now a non starter for me. I will only purchase game from here on out that I can hold in my hand and install on my computer without the need to be connected to the internet.
The only reason I should need the internet is to update flawed game data which nowadays is every game you buy.
