GZW had a pretty rough launch but months after this and the developers have continued to push updates to the game to stabilise it whilst also listening to community feedback regarding critical issues like the heli extracts.

New update dropped so I will be revisiting this game as it wiped too making it a little more interesting as everyone is back to basics.

I played more than 400 hours on Xbox but didn't play too much on pc. I've recently gotten back into this game as I've played around 400 hours in 7 weeks. To be honest the base game (Vanilla) doesn't attract me to DayZ. The modded community aspect is where all the fun really is. I'd honestly say its worth grabbing the game but only if it were on sale.

Major disappointment at launch since there was no NPC's and infinite issues with the game. The overhaul to add NPC's back to the game with a lot of balancing made this game decent. It doesn't stand a chance compared to older titles but the Multiplayer aspect is all that holds this game up. The recent addition of The Pitt is in all honesty a major disappointment if you ever played the original DLC. Decent game, worth getting if on sale.

DBD is fun but I think F13 was better, shame the game had to die. A typical day in DBD from a survivor point of view is like being part of a Huntress MW2 Sniper Montage. Top that off with a Bubba standing in a corner thinking he's invisible with Insidious, finally you'll see more Moonwalks than Michael Jackson ever did in one day. Don't stun or blind the killer, they will throw the game to kill you because for some reason it becomes personal... you know trying to escape the chase from the killer, the entire point of the game. How dare survivors try to escape. Killer on the other hand? Infinite build options to be toxic and just ruin people's days, besides SWF expect to be bullied. Gonna keep playing until a better alternative for this game comes around, can't seem to find one with the same concept that meets the needs.

Note; Both good and bad review.

Well I bought the game at launch like many others and was ready to go on an adventure to see what the world had to offer. At launch the game had many issues which people stuck through and the team seemed to be trying to fix a lot of issues. I lost interest in the game within a month of it releasing as I got to level 60 to realise there was nothing to do besides grind out gold etc since the end-game wasn't there at the time.

In all honesty though if you were considering picking this up its worth it if you were to take your time and play through the game. I rushed everything which left me more or less bored 200 hours into it which was a mistake on my part.

Current stance of the game seems to be that servers get merged and disappear far too often, this means if you want to start a Guild and try to control an area it is pointless since it is likely the server will merge with another. Nobody seems interested in helping anyone, an example of this is Dungeons. People want you to pay them anywhere from 500+ gold to join their Dungeon team. Chat seems filled with bots (still) trying to sell gold, items etc.

I feel this game had potential but the team couldn't handle the pressure when it launched and took too long to fix things which more or less killed the player base as we can see from the stats alone. The game is worthwhile if you and some friends intend to buy it and progress together. The game is really enjoyable in the early game, late game is boring.

The game is in early states and to be honest the game is good at it's core. The development team take a long time to add updates and some of them seem pointless but I can understand why they did it, to try keep things interested. It's a good game to buy and follow the development if you like the survival series of games. However there is limited missions and places to explore.

Playtime: 30 minutes.
Current Build: Early Alpha (opinion)

Main Issues with the game.
- In the main menu you don't have much options, controls setting does nothing.
- There is no introduction or tutorial to the game which makes it confusing.
- The world has invisible barriers and very little content, like 8 buildings.
- Refilling the quad doesn't seem to work either. May be a bug or not coded yet.

So I have played the game for 30 minutes or so, nothing more than this. The menu system when you tab for your backpack feels the same as 7 Days to Die which is good. However the game has invisible barriers and with around 8 locations to visit is very empty. It does as many have said feel like a really early Alpha. To be honest the game does have potential but at this time is empty, 20 days since the last update from the devs makes it more worrying. However, someone in the team does reply to users on the community posts. At this time I wouldn't recommend the game, I will keep an eye out for updates and change this as time goes on.

I bought this because a friend recommended it, one of the worst games I've ever played. The crafting and building are horrible. One of the few good things is the random events (care packages) to make the game a little more interesting. Not a game for me.

7 Days to Die is a great game for both solo and multiplayer. The gameplay can be somewhat challenging if you mix the settings up for it but it offers some great fun and experience, especially if playing with friends. The game is Early Access and needs more done with the game but all in all it's a work in progress and worth the grab.

Note: I have limited play time, so that counts toward not having the full experience.

The systems for monitoring your character are fantastic, hands down the best I've seen. The gameplay though, not so much. The training mission to begin with felt like it was never ending, cut down a tree and then carry the logs/sticks over to not be able to place them. The fact it was throwing bugs within the first 20 minutes drew me away. I tried it though stuck through some of the gameplay but it just felt like the gameplay was slow and buggy. I bought this game because I play Rust and was looking for an alternative, this is not that alternative for me.
