Coco Exiles is one of the greatest video games in history. It's got PVP. It's got base building. It's got PVE. It's got exploration. It's got crafting. It's got big sweaty man with floppy ding dongs.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, especially the GUITARCADE mini games. The great thing about them is they help you polish the techniques each was based on using to play, so if you're having trouble getting the related achievement (usually 10 million points) in any of the games, it prolly means that you need to work on your skill in that particular area.

The session mode is great. I like the idea of AI adjusting to you and generating a real time jam session. It works flawlessly.

The thing I was a bit disappointed with is the song selection for the default line up. In my opinion, most of the songs would be more fitting for the DLC content and not the main tracklist. It would be much cooler to get more popular and generally fun to play songs that are possible to cover completely on the first go or generally easy to 100%, than songs like Joe Satriani's Satch Boogie or Tak Matsumoto's Go Further that are reserved to expert shredders. Another frustrating thing is the abundance of nonstandard tuning songs. Why not make 90% of the Learn a Song in E Standard and toss in some non standard ones there, while you generally leave these out as DLC content? That aside, I enjoy the fact that you can set the game to run every song at highest difficulty with the complete notes on default, so that you play the complete song without the need of the game leveling up a song until it has all the notes available.

There's no career mode in the remastered edition, but I think that the mission system is a bit better, although slightly confusing. It's a really nice way to experience the plethora of possibilities the game throws at the player, since otherwise I'd probably just skip some of its aspects and focus on the stuff I expected would be the most enjoyable. I was positively surprised with some of the features that the missions pointed towards, that I'd possibly had omitted otherwise.

If you enjoy old school games like the UFO series, you'll enjoy Fallout's combat mechanism. I really like the perks system, as well as the impact on your character that the base stacks have when it comes for even slight changes. For example a character with low endurance would be swatted like a fly early in the game, and if you want to hit targets, you better not take away points from the right stats. It comes down to almost unlimited possibilities in character creation, and multiple playthroughs reward the player with new experience - different approach and outcome are fairly common.
