Woodlock Manor is a straightforward puzzle game with simple but lovable design. While short, this game offers an enjoyable (and frustrating) experience navigating through obstacles and uncovering the secret of the manor.

Very charming and absolutely worth picking up and playing. Excited to see what this developer puts out next!

I got this game for free and yet I still feel ripped off. What the ♥♥♥♥ garbage poopy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game is this. The worst controlling platformer of the entire millennia. Man I really wanted to enjoy a game where I am a penis with a gun but wow nothing about this game is remotely good. Ok actually the music kinda ♥♥♥♥♥ but beyond that everything else sucks so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad oh my sweet god why couldn't this just be kinda good.

TL;DR
It's what you expect. Short, sufficient, a fair bit of 18+ content, and cute girls.

The story is pretty good but it suffers from the usual pitfalls. It's also shorter than average but I didn't really notice and I enjoyed it all the way through. Only thing I don't like is that you're forced to be with Marina no matter what. Although I like her character, I don't have any interest in her. As for the other characters, Ayu exists. If you like the Tsundere type (even though she's 99% the whiny ♥♥♥♥♥ part) then she's ok. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Cosmos has to be my one of my favourite characters across all the Sakura novels. I wish there was just a route for just her where I don't have to think or care about Marina or Ayu. She's sweet and reading her dialogue with the Hiroki makes me genuinely happy.

This review is really just me begging for more Cosmos content in the Sakura Succubus 2.

I've been invested in rhythm games for the past 6 years, and there's nothing I enjoy more than finding new games to add to my library. I wasn't blown away or anything when I saw this game, but it was on sale for only $1 so I picked it up. The screenshots made the game look a little clunky and hard to read, but I also figured the game was customizable. I have recently finished clocking over 24 hours in the game, and here's my initial thoughts.

Review

I bought this game 5 months ago and stopped playing withing 15 minutes. I picked it up again seven days ago with the intent of seeing how high of a rank I could get. In 7 days I managed to get from rank 12109 to rank 64. If you intend to pick up this game for the same purpose, then you are in for a horrible time. The ranked selection is limited, and maps are not weighted, so you are required to play every single map in the game to be competitive. Then, once you've hit the top ranks, prepare to grind the same 10 songs over and over until you go insane. And don't expect any kind of active competition. Within the top 100 players right now, only 14 of them have played within the last 24 hours. Meanwhile 58 of them haven't played in over a week. This holds true throughout the entire top 500 players, and I imagine this the case across the entire game.

Honestly, the gameplay is the worst part. At first it doesn't seem so bad, but as you start to progress to harder difficulties, visual clarity because a major issue. Dense patterns are a nightmare to read in this game, especially when it comes to stacks/jacks. Most of my frustration in playing this game comes from arduously trying to read the arcs when they're so densely placed, and while they're changing size and speed.

Another major problem for me is ghost tapping. For those unfamiliar, this is when you tap notes that aren't there. I use this to keep time, or, during the start of the song when there are no notes present, to practice the feel of a pattern. In this game, ghost tapping results in a miss. Even if there is not a single note on screen, a ghost tap counts as a miss. If you are playing on hardcore mode, ghost tapping will instantly fail you out of a song. This drives me insane. Unfortunately, I think this is necessary for this game, since the window to hit an arc, and the accuracy calculations are abysmal.

The second an arc is on screen (or in certain cases, just barely off screen), no matter how off-timed the hit will be, you can tap it. You might think that tapping an arc at the earliest point would harshly affect your accuracy, but not really. There are 3 types of hits: Perfect, Correct, and Incorrect (misses). It is incredibly hard to get a feel for if you're tapping too early or too late unless it's horribly off-beat. There are also penalties for hitting too early/late, but in 24 hours I haven't figured out how that works at all.

I played multiplayer once, and it was a terribly buggy experience. It feels very rushed and not cared for. It is extremely bare-bones and lacks many features. It leaves a lot to be desired. This is also true for the customization aspect I alluded to earlier. This game has very minimal customization, with most of the important bits being left as add-ons you can buy in the market. If you wanted to change the color of your arcs, then you better hope you get lucky and receive for free from the game, or you buy it for real money. Granted it's extremely cheap, but at that point, why do I have to buy it?

One positive thing I can say for this game is that it does have some really good music. I found quite a few new artists I hadn't heard of and genuinely enjoyed. Unfortunately, I'll have to find good gameplay to match the songs, since, save for a few charts, I didn't find here.

TL;DR: Even though paid $1 for this game, I regret every penny. There was not 1 minute during my playtime where I played with the intention to have fun. I cannot find any enjoyment from casually playing this game. I genuinely hate this game. My only satisfaction comes from climbing the ranks, and even that sucks. Maybe you can have fun playing, but if you're anything like me, stay away.

Have you ever found yourself alone in your room, with nobody to talk to? Have you ever experienced having a girlfriend? Have you ever had any type of physical female contact in your life? If you answered yes, no and no, this is the perfect VN for you.

For the third installment in the Nekopara franchise, this novel really has you in a trance as you go through it. You're brought on an emotional joyride as you experience feelings like: love, sadness, empathy, friendship, joy, pain, and many more. This is a novel that certainly keeps on giving, and has tons of replayability.

The catgirls are still their same old selves, but the two new catpanions show a new side to there love for you. Finally you can enjoy pretending to feel the insides of Coconut and Azuki's nether regions. Or if you're more sentimental, pretending that you really are sleeping right next to them. Truly some heart melting and blissful moments.

The novel also adds a touch of feels, as you experience the breaking of bonds between the two new catpanions. I felt as if my two own unexistant and extremely attractive catgirl sisters had split ways. Thankfully, the two are able to mend their relationship, and rekindle their love in a loving and sweet embrace.

If anything will stop depression, it won't be this game. Simply because once you've finished reading the novel, you find yourself back where you started. Alone, cold, and with the realisation that you will never have a qt3.14 catgirl waifu. Suddenly, after enjoying the fun and beauty of this novel, you're driven that much closer to suicide. After relishing in the glory and funfilled lives of the Minaduki family, I found myself saddend by the fact that I would never experience such a thing in my everyday life. I would never get to enjoy the feeling of caressing a real catgirl's hair and tail, or hear them purr in response. I would never achieve the level of happiness I had felt when sleeping next to best cat Azuki.

Honestly a well made and enjoyable novel. Quality story, quality adult scenes, quality voice acting, etc. The only issue I found was that, well, these assbangers made Azuki pee on me during sex. LIKE WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE THE BEST GIRL A PISSER. HOW MANY PEOPLE DID YOU ACTUALLY THINK WERE GONNA GO: "OH HELL YEAH SHE'S A PISSER."? ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ IT RUINED THE MOMENT SO HARD. Soiled my 10/10 rating to a 9.5/10. At least I can skip over the pee scene, but ultimately I just lose out of more valuable seconds looking at Azuki.

One of the better visual novels in the Sakura series. This game offers meaningful choices that decide what kind of nudes you get. Some of the more advanced choices decide who you have intense lesbian sex with. And it's some real nice lesbian sex.

Everything that's good about this game:
  • Women are very hot
  • Story (if you actually read these novels) is pretty good
  • Choices that make very miniscule differences in the very challenging gameplay
  • As stated by others, good "workout" material

Some downsides:
  • You're going to need to buy A LOT more tissues
  • You're parents will be very disappointed
  • You will lose 80% of your friends

10/10 for women 7.5/10 for story

If you've ever wondered how much cringe you can take in one visual novel, as your white knight friendzone beta sperglord main protagonist rejects any form of physical contact, then this is the game for you. Seiji is the type of guy that's moderately attractive at the bar and gets hit on by most of the girls and then walks out of the bar with all their numbers thinking he just made new friends. He's also the guy that stays a virgin forever because he has a "No sex before manogamy rule" yet no girl wants to settle down with him.

TL;DR Seiji is the most beta ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on the planet, but his friends are hot. Hot enough that this game is pretty enjoyable just to look at the tits- I mean faces. And personalities.

8/10 for women 4/10 for story

This is greaterest space game in space to ever take place in space. I loved the part where i had to do gradeschool math in space. The best element had to be that it was in space.
