Like a worse version of Forza Horizon. Feels like a mobile game -- specifically, Asphalt Legends.

Conclusion:

If you come from SWAT 4, it sucks at first but gets better as you get used to the new teammate AI, learn how to work around your teammate AI's bugs, and the new type of map design. Atmosphere is incredible, especially when it comes to the later levels.

This game would be given a thumbs up if it wasn't promoted to 1.0 in such a buggy state. It's still in beta IMO. Better to wait for patches first to fix the blatant bugs, or wait for a sale.

The bugs wouldn't be so bad if it didn't often cause the death of your entire team... in a mode where "every death counts"... this game is NOT ready at all.

Pros:

- Extremely good and realistic atmosphere, sound and graphics
- Good fictional 911 call recordings
- Command system is very precise
- Commander mode adds a sense of heaviness to the situation
- Gunplay is very good (a bit too good, TBH, since the game should be about defusing the situation, not shooting)

Neutral:

- Teammate AI is different from SWAT 4; it is a lot more autonomous but may be too independent for your liking (e.g. teammates often overextend)
- I think suspect AI is actually okay (if you take into account the lore of a dystopian, near-future America; plus it forces you to rely on your aimbot teammate AIs instead of doing it yourself), but it's definitely a bit too aggressive at times. Can be modded out.

Cons:

- Briefing writing and voice acting is overly edgy
- Weird difficulty curve
- Very bad optimisation
- Teammate AI keeps bugging out, getting stuck on geometry/you and disobeying your orders
- Clunky police station menu that takes a long time to walk through
- Multiplayer aspects leak into singleplayer negatively (e.g. needing to wait for "all players" to ready up)
- Overly large maps
- Lots of bugs in general (e.g. inaccurate mission briefings that don't get corrected, doors being jammed open, tutorial guy bugging out)

10/10 Will serve plain dough to customers again.

Pizza Express is a fast paced game where you make pizzas on the counter. However, unlike most other games, it boasts a full storyline, in-depth management (you can make your own pizzas on the menu! You can set your opening and closing times! You can add a happy hour!) and a realistic simulation of customers (be prepared for lunch hour).

It also includes Challenge Mode (to test out menus and pizzas, and participate on the world leaderboard) and catchy 8-bit music.
