Counter Strike? Yes it's the classic game name that set root's in many peoples childhood.

All the way back to 1.0 and forward too 1.6 where this game where at it's glory at both competitive but also casually. So many people had there own PCW server tweaked with best stats and configs etc and ton of popular Community server's with KZ, WAR3FT, SH, Gun game.. and many more mods to choose from beside regular game mode

But what about CS2? is it all still fun and games can we still sink in 1000's of hours in no time without realize time go by? Well some maybe but id say just the basic game on its own, the anserw is "no"

Why id say it like this is well surely if you dedicate a server for yourself and your close friends and ban all the trouble makers you may actually have a decent times. Surely it may take more effort make a moded server in CS2 than old days if Competitive mode does not satisfy your needs.

But if you rely on premier to be you're main source of enjoyment, I'm sorry there is no nice way to put this game but miserable at best.

The game developer has ignored cheating for god knows how many year's and it's even on YouTube by so many content creators busting these people from Demos or there own games footage. And there is so many video's from small cheaters to very high rank cheaters. Surely some gets a ban but it's so far from all the ones cheating and i don't even want to give an estimate of how few gets caught.

The steam forum have been flooded with god knows how many topic on Cheaters, Smurfs, Unban Request blabla and the forums are more or less an unmonitored playground for trolls and people who are in denial of the games current state.

And close to the cheaters we have the group of people we call Smurf? Well basic people who perform better than there Elo and this can be cause of multiple reasons:

Play very bad during placement match.
Getting cooldown to often result of being toxic / bad player
Take cooldown on purpose to lose 1000 Elo couple games progress

And the next issue with this game is if you just play regular you might be affected by "fake" Elo, What i mean by this is something that have been debated a lot through time and I'm not sure if they have ever tried to fix it.

But main concern is that you have 2-3 people on your team that really plays bad, It could be a bad day playing horrible or it could be a player who simply know nothing and can't get a foot down in the game before far superior players melt them like butter due to skill advantage etc.

This is mainly due to players are not spread enough apart in lower Elo cluster. 1000 - 5000 Elo basic all the game right now it's a bloody gamble if they even use a headset or communicate anything.

And the problem would be if these bad people keep getting boosted they rise up with the team even if only 1-2 kills. But how is it fair they get 100+ Elo points if proven to not even cross 30 ADR or 1 kill every 5 rounds.

And same time good players losing Elo multiple times to bad team mates or facing cheaters keeping them down in low Elo longer than they should be and if combined with taking cooldown once a while cause can't stand spending 30min with the team you get handed due to you know it's gonna be a loss however you play the cards.

There should be much more focus on "your" performance, not just kills, but also assist, accuracy, utility, and such.

This would maybe cause some issue's playing with friends across some skills group's but if the average player performed more like the Elo they was given we would see more fair games and more joyful rather than feeling overrun multiple games.

Another big problem in this game, Language and Regions.

One would think in this modern world everyone could speak English and communicate in an online game?. Well it turns out this is not exactly the case. Despite many online content creators move from there native language to English for a wider audience we have county's that simple ignore that and believe there own language is more common and right to use because there country is bigger than other said persons location. And that may be true there country is bigger in population but it sadly does not tie the communication together.

And if the language barrier wasn't enough of a problem we have toxicity, Big Ego, Discrimination, Racism to deal with as well, Many female streamer's even feel they are better off not talking in fear of men put them in a box and discriminate and throw hate at them at any chance given, Is this really the game we want?

I don't believe we can ever get rid of all these voice complications but i think narrow down players to certain regions may help a bit to take off the heat from people getting at each other when they can't understand and communicate together.
I also believe some of the Ego and bad attitude comes from two groups compete to show who's better.

If i felt like write an entire book i could of added how the skins and gamble is a whole other issue in itself too but that's for another time
