So...essentially a solid game. I knew it wouldn't be as action packed as the likes of GTA Online or something similar. But that was okay, I just wanted to have the wild west experience and the wonderful atmosphere. In most parts, the game kinda even lives up to that. However, and that's the reason I'm not recommending it, is simply bugs. They destroy the game. Gameplay wise, as well as atmospheric. Bugs that still haven't been fixed by Rockstar despite them being known for over a year now. For instance, missing weapons in your holsters. How am I gonna be a cool gunslinging cowgirl when my weapons are invisible in my holsters and it looks like I'm unarmed eventhough I have them equipped? Outfits you create and save disappear. You put a lot of effort into creating cool looking custom outfits for various occasions, just for them to be deleted the next time you log in. Then, simply not getting paid for jobs you do. More often than not, as a posse member you don't get paid in either gold, nor xp, nor cash when you complete bounty hunter, or stranger missions with your posse leader. They get paid, you sometimes simply not at all. It's really frustrating when you just finished a hard legendary bounty, your partner gets $150 and you get absolutely nothing at all. It's like a slap in the face. Rockstar hasn't fixed this yet and it's been around for such a long time now. These bugs just completely ruin the experience you would have. It's frustrating and annoying, and you just feel completely hopeless because there's nothing you can do about it.
It's sad to think about what it could have been, really.

Absolute blast playing it with buddies, honestly one of the best and most fun games I've ever got to play with people I know. However I gotta say I'm not recommending the game if you have nobody to play with cuz with randoms it's not nearly as fun and most randoms are, I'll be honest, kinda stupid and you won't really be able to discuss properly to reach your goals. Random kicks, people leaving, many people not speaking english.
But with friends...gheez it's such a damn nice experience and it's sooo nice when you just casually snap necks, stab 'em through the heart, or plaster their brains on the wall and then in the voting phase someone else gets blamed and totally annihilated for the mischief you've caused. 10/10 for that price, just hella amazeballs. <3
