I Commissioned Some Bees

I wrote one review that I will post with every game in this series since the point and mechanics are all the same.

This game is a hidden object game. Or to be more specific, hidden bees.

It contains beautifully handdrawn images that has bees hidden in them. Some of them also have bee related things you need to find. Like a beehive, beekeeper and a honey pot.

Some of the images are more challenging than others so finding everything you need can be either pretty easy or a bit more difficult.
For me there has been a time difference between 2 minutes and 45 minutes.

The game is such a lovely way of passing the time. I have been playing it with my 3 year old son. Or well, I have been playing it and he just very enthusiasticly touches the screen wherever, not really finding the bees persee. But it's a great way to spend time together!

Achievement wise it's perfect. Just play the game! So if you want to hunt for easy 100% games, this is the one!

I'd rate this game at a 7/10
I really enjoy these type of games!

Tribes Of Midgard

In Tribes of Midgard you have 2 different game modes.

The 1st one is survival.
In this mode you can follow the story to end in Valhalla. It's an endless mode so whenever you die you come back. You do lose some of your stuff so it's not recommended. Here you can level up, build better weapons and gear. Which you need to raid the camps and defeat Ancients. When you level up you get blessing points. With these points you can get better skills to make you character unstoppable. Once youve reached the last level you can still get blessing points by protecting certain trees. This is personally my favorite mode because I can do it in my own speed, I can sightsee, do all side quests, build an impressive base, have an awesome farm. Most of the achievements you can get in this mode. And they're all pretty easy to get! Except one which needs a little bit of a grind but there's an amazing trick you can use that you can find online.

The 2nd one is the saga mode.
In here you're with a max of 10 players trying to defend your base of night creatures and Jottüms. Meanwhile you're trying to open up the map as fast as possible to defeat the Ancients and make sure you have everything done before the blood moon comes. Whats different from survival mode is that here you can choose a certain build for your character. You also have way less and different skills for your build. Honestly I'm not entirely sure what the goal of this mode is, I played it due to certain achievements. I dislike this mode. It's too fast and you're relying on other people. In my experience the other community members aren't the most helpful or friendly. Another thing that's a bit annoying is that if you want to play saga with your friends you need to be lucky to get in the same world. Because you can't invite eachother or be in a party and join the map together.

During both game modes you can earn and find golden horns. You also get them by leveling up. With these horns you can craft Legendary gear or use them to buy cosmetics in the shop for your character.

The game has Steam achievements which are all pretty easy to get except maybe 2 that require a bit more grinding. In an addition to the Steam achievements there are also in game achievements. With these achievements you unlock certain legendary gear you can craft and cosmetics for your character.

Overall I've had an amazing time playing this game with my friend! I'd rate this game a 7/10.

Crime O'Clock

In Crime O'Clock you're a detective with an AI partner called E.V.E. You have to solve crime, but to do so you need to go back in time and prevent it from happening. You'll be doing this in a "Where's Waldo?" kind of game play.

The game is a lot of fun and much longer than I initially thought it was gonna be. Which is a good thing of course!
The few ages you have are hand drawn and every single time you look you find something new. The amount of references to movies, shows and music is incredible!

During your missions of stopping bad guys you have to do some sort of hacking. This happens with fun puzzle like mini games.
Hanging out in the main menu is easily done because the soundtrack is an absolute banger!

Achievements are extremely easy to get. Just play the game!

The only thing I struggle with is the fact it's so incredibly bright. Most of the time you're just staring at an almost completely white screen. This ends up giving me a headache and sore eyes.

I give this game a 8/10
The story kept on giving and finding new references time and time again was so much fun!

Fall of Porcupine

This game is about a young doctor named Finley who just started at his first hospital. There he has to deal with patients, new co workers and a boss who has extremely high standards.
Besides that he moved to a new city where he doesn't know anyone and is trying to make friends.
We're getting an in depth look into how to balance your busy work life and still wanting to have a social life as well.

It's a super lovely game that's based on true stories from real people who work in a hospital.
The game has fun little mini games in between the stories and dialogue.

I absolutely love the artwork! It's super cute and the colors are soothing for the eyes.
Due to the game looking so cute, some of the darker parts of the game hit harder. Shouldn't be allowed!

Achievement wise this game requires you to replay it (atleast) twice. You keep getting 2 options to choose from so for the second run you need to choose the other option.
Having to replay this game is no punishment at all! It gives you more about all the characters and the story.

I give this game a 8/10
The game is great, the characters are great, the dialogues can be fun and the game makes me feel things!

Ten Dates

The title of the game might already give it away but we're going on dates!
In this FMV game you see Misha tricking her best friend Ryan into going speeddating with her.

You play as either Misha or Ryan while they meet all very different people during the event. The choices you make changes the story and your chances on a second date and or third date!

The game is so much fun playing and watching. The actors did an amazing job with bringing across the different personalities. Some you're gonna love, some you're gonna hate, some are gonna surprise you.

Achievements:
These are all super easy to get. Some require you to do several playthroughs. But honestly that's not a problem at all because this way you can get through all the different dialogues.
In my opinion there is also the opportunity to add a few more achievements like getting all of the objectives per date.
And unlocking all dialogs with each person.

The only thing that I'd like to see different is that it would tell you which dialogue options you already picked so you don't end up picking the same options on accident.
What also would be great is having the option to start at the second or third date. So that whenever you made a mistake you don't have to do everything all over again.

Overall I give this game a 7/10
Purely because there are small things that could be better and the fact whenever I pick the lewd option they walk away. Damn prudes!

Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry

Well well well, look who's here! It's Larry all the way from the 80s, he some how managed to time travel to the 21st century!
You know damn well that his believes and views about woman and the world will not match well with today's society!
But that's what we're here for! You know it, I know it, we all know it!

This game is a point and click puzzle adventure game. It's full of humor and dark and dirty jokes. I mean, how can it not? This is Larry Laffer after all!
You play as Larry while he's trying to date his way to the top. Along the way you meet some new faces but also hang out with familiar ones.

Like I said, it's a puzzle game so you've got to put that brain to work! Some puzzles are a bit trickier than others and some require you to think outside of the box and when you do some still don't make any sense at all! But, oh well, you'll roll with it anyway!

I absolutely loved this games! The art is great, the story is great, and me being quite the thirsty person really made me appreciate all the smexyness involved!
The game will leave you thinking, it will leave you laughing. It's incredibly easy to lose track of time while playing this.

Achievement wise they're all pretty easy to get! Some require you to go back. The game doesn't have chapter select so I highly recommend you saving the game multiple times at different parts so you don't have to replay the entire game to find just one small thing.

The thing I disliked about the game was that at several parts I got completely stuck. This person needed that, that person needed this, but the only way to get it to happen was if I did this, but the thing I needed to do so I'd only get from someone else I needed something else for.
So it became a huge thing of knowing what to do and where to do it. But not having the right tools because some puzzles or ideas were so ridiculous I had not think of it yet.

Overall I'd give this game a 8/10
Very fun to play!

The Fantastic Kitty Rue

You play as a little girl named Felicity Rue. Her dream is to become the most famous tap dancer in the galaxy. By doing so, she needs to bend a few rules.

The game is very pretty! The artsyle is super clean! The plush vendor is definitely my favorite!

That being said, I do have a few dislikes unfortunately.
- For a game that's supposed to be about a tap dancer, there really isn't much tap dancing going on.
- I thought it was a little annoying that some of the dialogue was being read and some wasn't. Having everything read out was maybe a bit too expensive with the voice actors but if that was the case I'd chosen that nothing was being read. I loved the voice acting. It fit the characters perfectly! So having to miss most of it was a bit of a bummer.
- Turning around in the room seemed to be inverted. I constantly turned the wrong way the first time I wanted to look around. Maybe add a setting that lets you change that?
- It's a short game. I don't mind shorter games if they feel finished afterwards. This game has so much potential to become a bigger game and if you're deciding to add more to it, I'm here for it!

I'd give this game a 6/10
It's super cute, it looks great, it's just that it's a bit short and to me it feels like there's missing a few things to really make my score a bit higher.

However, I did really enjoy playing this game and getting to know the characters!

Children of Silentown

This game is about a town that's surrounded by a forest filled with monsters. The people in Silentown live by a bunch of rules to try and make sure they don't get taken by the monsters. You play as Lucy, a child who is curious and has questions about the forest and the monsters. When her mom goes missing she decides to take action!

The thing that instantly drew me to this game was the art style. It's so pretty and slightly creepy! I love it! It reminds me of Tim Burton and Don't Starve. The amount of care and development that came with it really shows.
The game has some puzzle elements in it. Some were a bit more tricky than others but overall they weren't extremely difficult at all.

Achievement wise:
The game is pretty easy to get 100%.
It requires a few playthroughs due to the fact that there are 4 different endings.
Maybe some of the stickers and secret notes need a bit more searching.

My dislikes:
I really only have one dislike which is the way the monsters are drawn.
All the people and the environment all fit perfectly together. Like everything is supposed to be there. And then there are the monsters who feel like they got lack of attention. Maybe this is on purpose?

I give this game a 9/10
I loved this game so much and enjoyed every bit of every playthrough!

TEMPUS

TEMPUS is a puzzle game where you need to solve puzzles to fix your time machine so you can travel to another age.

The game looks very pretty. I love the color pallet, it's very soothing for the eyes. Overall this game gives me The Witness feels. The puzzles are not so difficult.

Achievements:
The game is extremely easy to get 100%. Just play it. You'll be able to finish it between 3 - 4 hours.

Those were unfortunately my only positives about the game.
- I suffer from motion sickness while playing FP games. Normally there's an option to turn off the headbobbing. This usually helps quite a bit. Too bad this game didn't had that option.
- One puzzle took me ages to figure out. Not because it was difficult to understand but because it required me to duplicate a tune. I'm tone deaf, these puzzles are the worst for me.
- There's one map with lightning. Which made my motion sickness so much worse and it resulted in me having to stop playing because it gave me a massive headache.
- The last map was too much for the game too load. It became incredibly choppy. Stream also became unwatchable. The headbobbing combined with the choppiness made me extremely nauseous.

I'm gonna give this game a 5/10. I want to give this game the benefit of the doubt. If the developers would add options to get rid of the headbobbing and make sure the game is able to load all the stuff in the last map, it would help a lot.

Murder Is Game Over

Murder Is Game Over is a very short, 2 - 3 hour long story driven game where you have to solve the murder of Russel Gallant. You play as Detective Guy and his loyal clue sniffing dog Cleo.

This game was fun! I really enjoyed playing it! The design is pixelart and fits the theme. It's been described as a point and click but it's best played with just your keyboard. You have to walk around the location of the murder to find all of the suspects and interview them to see who they are and what their motive might be.

For my fellow achievement hunters:
The game has 12 achievements and they are super easy. Just follow the story! After I completed the game I had to go back once because I missed two. Which was not a big deal at all! So for an easy 100% this game is already worth it.

Things I disliked about the game:
- The controls felt a bit off to me. You had to walk with the arrow keys which feels unnatural to me.
- No keybinding option. Which would've been great to be able to put it on WASD. But I also completely understand that due to it being a super short game the developer might've been a bit limited.
- One song felt very much out of place but it also made it fun.

Overall I give this game a 7/10
