First 20 minutes are just 80% unskippable cutscenes with bad acting and 20% railroad sections, instantly uninstall and request refund. I am way too ADHD to enjoy that kind of experience.

Everything just feels slow and awful. Nothing is explained. Menus are confusing and terrible. Inventory management is boring and consumes way too much time. Quests are way too basic to be fun. 90% of your runs are determined by RNG. Enemies are not fun to fight and all feel mostly the same. Just feels like an absolute chore with no fun moments whatsoever.

Awful artstyle, terrible balance, confusing design (why the ♥♥♥♥ do characters in a fighting game have unique passives and why do perks exist), every update brings new bugs, laggy and dysfunctional UI, tons of currencies and microtransactions, slow, claustrophobic, confusing hurtboxes, dying playerbase, poorly explained mechanics, awful new player experience since characters are all paid, really there's nothing to like here besides buggs bunny hitting batman with a hammer which is funny for about 5 seconds.

Balance and gameplay changes are all great. Really appeals to the highly invested players who like to try 100 different builds.

Campaign is more like a really long side quest. Not a lot going on there. Big story implications but ends on a cliffhanger and I don't think PCF will get enough money from this to finish it, so it'll just remain unfinished forever most likely.

Endgame is much better than expeditions IMO, just generally more fun and nets you better gear. Exploring is the best part, but once you have it all mapped out in your head it's still more fun than expeditions. Bosses are really, really good.

Apocalypse tiers and new skill trees are fun but don't add a ton of new stuff. Biggest change is that Techno is now optionally a viable support class.

Ascension tiers are cool little bonuses but also not really significant.

Apocalypse gear is a cool addition and adds a lot of variety. Also streamlines loot, since in the endgame you only want Apocalypse gear, meaning you just insta-scrap everything else. Probably my favorite addition.

Not worth $40 but if it ever goes on sale, or if you can get it from a steam key retailer for cheap, it's worth if you like the game already. Will def get me to put in another 50 or so hrs at least.
