This game hasn’t received an update since August 2024 which we now know is because they “borrowed” PoE1 devs to work on PoE2 (if there was truly a team for PoE2 to begin with). Meanwhile PoE2 was being worked on, this games playerbase has been left in the dark and left with an empty promise of a new update by late February. GGG has also stated that development of PoE2 will not affect PoE1. This all turned out to be a lie when they knew all along that it wasn’t possible.


GGG was a highly respected company with a loyal playerbase, until Jonathan became consistent with overpromising and underdelivering.

Path of Exile is a very well fleshed out game with intricate mechanics that can take thousands of hours to master. However, I currently cannot recommend it at the moment as it has been neglected. I hope I would be able to change this review in the near future.
