Once upon a time this game launched to one of the most hilarious and explosively bad releases of its genre.

Years later, after money and work was invested to fix what was wrong, it's still broken. Yet, it's broken in the Bethesda way we're used to, and then some.

The best way to explain it would be like "What if Fallout 4 played like Destiny? But then you could also build houses?"

It's also all Survival mode all the time, which is a feature I didn't expect them to keep.

4/5 but get it on sale for the love of all that is Holy.

Even if you haven't played any other Metal Gear games, even if you have no idea who most of the characters are, the gameplay alone is fun enough in an open-world sneak-or-shoot setting that it's just plain fun.

You can play this game on a potato and it runs smoothly.

Quiet is entirely a fanservice character, but the plot point her condition is based on is interesting sci-fi.

The game is pretty and it plays well.

Buy the definitive edition on sale or at full price, you can't go wrong.
