Garry's Mod is a sandbox game that works on Source engine. Well, technically it isn't a game at all, until you download mods to it, so yeah. Here are the good (+) and bad (-) things about Gmod.

+ This is the literal meaning of "sandbox". You can do everything. There are no limits. You have access to everything.
+ Massive mod support (over 1 million mods in total on Steam Workshop. Gmod has the biggest workshop out of all games)
+ As we talk about mods, there's a ton of gamemodes to choose from (Sandbox itself, Dark RP, Trouble in Terrorist Town, Prop Hunt, Zombie Survival, Stranded Survival and so on)
+ A lot of servers to choose from as well (This is the server I enjoy playing on the most 82.196.16.36:27015 , if you wish to play with me in the future you can find me here, I come here almost every day <3)
+ Every mod is compatible with both the game and other mods, so you can download as much mods as your PC can handle
+ Source engine (that's why mods are so compatible)
+ Can use maps from other Source games (Half-Life 2, CS:S, TF2 etc.)
+ You can make your own servers for your friends to play with

- If you wish to have a lot of mods (like me, I have 400+ mods) you need a seriously strong CPU and RAM
- There are no server creating assistance (only Hamachi/static IP servers
- Garry's Mod takes a lot of space (I recommend cleaning your Garry's Mod folder "downloads", because all the mods from servers you join are stored here, and it can weigh a lot (in my case if weigh 50 GB in total)

That's it for this review. Garry's Mod is the real meaning of freedom. Here, you can do everything. If the base game doesn't allow to do something, the mods for it sure do.
