Mon grand-père a fumé toute sa vie. J'avais à peu près 10 ans lors que ma mère lui a dis "Si tu veux voir ton petit fils grandir, tu devrais arrêter immédiatement.". Je me rappelle qu'il s'est mis à pleurer dès qu'il a réalisé de quoi il en retournait et il a tout de suite arrêter de fumer.
Trois années plus tard, il est mort d'un cancer des poumons. C'était le jour le plus triste de ma vie et j'étais détruit. Ma mère m'a alors dis "Ne fumes jamais, ne fait pas à ta famille ce que ton grand-père nous a fait.". Et j'étais résolument d'accord.
A 20 ans, je n'avais jamais touché une seule cigarette.
Mais je dois dire que d'une certaine manière je regrette, parce que de toutes façons, te fréquenter m'a donné le cancer.
