I have a mixed feeling about this game.
Some of the features in this game are great. Object dropper is awesome, you can customize any spot to your liking. The aesthetic of the user interface is neat, and the replay editor looks like you are watching the footage on a camcorder. The open world map is another highlight for this game, it is fun to explore the map and find interesting spots to skate. Day and night cycle are a nice touch, at night you can light up a spot you are skating with lights.

The graphics in this game are gorgeous, you can tell the developers spend a lot of time making sure the game looks good. The sound in the game sounds amazing as well, especially when rolling on different terrain. The spots have great detail and are scaled perfectly.

Where session falls short is the core gameplay. The animations are stiff and awkward. The controls feel clunky and delayed at times. I do like the revert mechanic, the ability to catch the board 90 degrees and complete the rotation with a revert is nice. The physics in this game need a lot of work, the bails are extremely unrealistic and annoying.

Overall, it is impressive what this small team of developers were able to achieve, the game looks great but the controls feel awkward and need a lot of work.

This game has huge potential. The developer got the handling and controll of the skateboard down to a point.

This game is not for everyone though, if you are looking for an arcade style "Tony Hawk" game, this game is not for you.

On the other hand, if you are looking for a more realistic "simulation" type of experience, this is more where this game fits in.

At the current state of the game, the game mechanics feal awsome, but the game lacks content.

If the developers add more content down the line, such as maps, community mod support, and some character customization, this game would have a very bright future!

Borderlands 2 takes game play mechanics from FPS like Halo and adds RPG elements of a game like Diablo. The game is very entertaining and can keep you playing for long periods of time. The story is average but the sense of humor makes up for it. Borderlands 2 has one of the most original visual styles of any game I have played in the last few years, with its concept art-style appearance and thick black lines evoking the look of a graphic novel.
Bottom line: there is a reason Borderlands 2 was one of the best selling games of 2012, and has become the best-selling game in the history of 2K Games.

One of the best Valve games to date. Its single-player provides ample amounts of genuinely funny and compelling narrative and some great puzzles, while the co-op takes the game's mechanics and pushes them to their absolute, playable limit. The single player has one of the best voice acting i have ever seen in a video game. Portal 2 may be the best game of 2011.
