Some animations are a bit janky, like throwing items.
The game play however is super fun, I recommend at least playing this with 3 players, the game is pretty hard even on Normal difficulty level, but it gets easier when you are playing with a full party.
it'll be fun to see how this game evolves!

Fun game to play with friends.

Before you play: Do not look up any spoilers, this game is best played blind.
I highly recommend that you play with a controller.
It can be a bit frustrating in the start before you get a grip of it, if you get stuck on something very difficult it's probably best to backtrack a bit and look for another place to visit!

I've probably spent over a thousand hours in Dark Souls/Remastered on different platforms.
It is absolutely my favorite game when it comes to Action RPGs.
The game is quite notorious for being "super hard", don't let that scare you off, it gets easier when you get a grip of the mechanics.

Pros:
Combat - Animation based and with a pretty big variety on weapons and weapon upgrades.
Lore - This game has an incredible amount of lore, I highly recommend looking it up by reading item descriptions, talking to NPCs and looking around at the environment.
Level design - Open world, shortcuts between areas, everything is connected beautifully and every area has it's own kind of theme.

Cons:
Multiplayer matchmaking - This is highly subjective, but I really prefer the multiplayer matchmaking in the original game where it was based on your soul level. instead of that, this game bases who you can be matched with depending on what weapons you've picked up + your current level.
Resistance - Never level this stat, it's pretty useless.
Plot - The plot of the game is very basic, but the extremely deep lore covers up for that easily.

Side notes:
If you plan to play co-op with a friend, set up a network password from the options.
how to unlock co-op: You'll need a soapstone, you can get one from a certain NPC right after the taurus demon. if you want a friend to join your game, you have to reverse hollow at the bonfire. Praise the sun!
