Sorry for getting a bit toxic. Had a bad day and didn't expect to randomly get matched into a casual lobby with some kind of aim god.

There's so much more to it than just "click on head" but if you wish to simplify it to that level, sure. Gamesense, movement, and aim impact all classes, and sniper isn't an exception to that rule. There are so many easy ways to make a sniper's life much more difficult, and you chose one point and latched on. If you really wish to deal with sniper, practice the game more, if you're not willing to, don't complain about people who do practice and are better.

so to counter sniper i have to:
consistently jiggle peek corners
check surroundings to see if he is in my sightline
make sure i can shoot at him, which is difficult if you are in a long range scenario and you have a shotgun as your secondary
make sure to kill other enemies because this isnt mge, there are other enemies than just the sniper
find a way to make it to the sniper's perch so i can actually attack him, and hope he doesnt quickscope me for 150 damage, most likely instakilling me.

and the sniper has to:
